Mr. X is excited about the month of games and so is Versus Magazine -- Candyland,  Chess & Clue...  plus  50 or more top designers in SL  -- who could ask for more fun from  July 12-31.  Siren Productions in collaboration with Versus Magazine, Scala, Aim, Boulevard, Culture Magazine, Designing SL, Models, BOSL and SL Radio Live will bring you three salesrooms,three fabulous shows and some unforgettable entertainment.

Exclusive releases galore for this extravaganza not to be missed!  A Sneak Peak favorite here is by Boudoir called Chess Queen it is  elegant with a red bow  black cross top and architecturally beautiful  B&W  skirt not to mention the evocative neck piece.. ladies never kiss and tell.   The furniture is the best yet.... This event also includes  Candyland there are 9 different locations to visit on the Candyland Board Game including Candy Castle, Peppermint Forest and Lollipop Woods.

On the chess sim you may run into the Black King that has set out intent on conquering the kingdom of the White Queen... could that be me???????    anyway --- an epic battle ensues with moves that dazzle... a power struggle between the dark and light...go to the chessboard to see who is victorious...

On the "Clue" game board murder is the name of the game and a "money" trail leads the way... or does it... it is up to you to slueth your way through the mysteries.

New Shopping Experience - Exclusives at Fresh Styles 45-95L

If you have a passion for fashion the new shopping area is for you! Most items 45L-95L.  High standards, exclusives and fabulous featured sales items are the name of the game here.  I am doing a round-up of some of star items offered.  The event runs every two weeks and opens the second Wednesday of the month and usually closes every second Sunday. The first dress I am wearing is by R&B called Ro' e Buni and the dress is called Sarabella and is designed by Pippi Moonites.  Pippi Moonites named her shop R&B from the tale of two oxen named  Rò and Bunì  from Romagna, Italy. Sarabella is beguiling with its curve hugging  zebra stripes, scoop neckline and lingerie straps. The pearl studded hat adds glamour.

Next, I am wearing a dress by =Corrupted= called Annie Dress.  This dress with its' wide skirt and tight cinched belt at the waist with pearls and corsage gives this a 50's vintage vibe.  It is mesh and comes in 5 sizes.   Add the gorgeous matching strapped heels for mid.- slink feet and bop the night away.

Best of all, Annie Dress and shoes comes with a color changing hud giving this dress a different look and color with the click of a button. Shoes and dress come in 8 colors including red and purple as shown, yellow, green, blue, orange, pink, white and light green.

Morphine is offering a fabulous skin... Nadine in Peach... it comes with a soft pink blush and  a variety of eyebrows including blush berry, blush black, brown and light.  Morphine's skins are loaded with appliers including Lush appliers and phat/cute ass.  The third wave slink hand and feet appliers (a god send) are sold separately at the main shop...get them and save yourself the trouble of matching!!!  Mr. X loves the innocent and wholesome look of this skin... it is refreshing to wear and you will be noticed.

I have paired the Morphine Skin with a sexy wrap around geometrically patterned dress designed  by Florina Phelan of FLRN  design.  The dress is called Julia Pink but also comes in red, purple, turquoise, yellow, dark blue, green, and orange. It is mesh and comes in 5 sizes making it easy to wear.

Since animal skins are so happening on the runway in RL and in SL, I am ending this blog with two "rawrs"!  First, I am wearing a design of Kayshla Aristocrat  CEO of Lush Catz that features a peasant styled blouse and mesh hot pants with a high waist and an evocative zipper.  This set called "Paw" comes with a necklace, hoop earrings and tango appliers.  The pose is by Sha Verocity.

My last "rawr" is by Zeta Untermeyer of WTB and is called Asasha Leo -- I love the leopard print !  The hot pants with the gold buckle and the handkerchief top is smoking hot!   I added Nadine in Native by Morphine Skins that just makes this sizzle and smoke!

Smoke and Ivory... Sascha's B&W collection and Zuri Jewelry

In a complicated world there is something classic and reassuring about black and white. Sascha has just released a series of  ten black and white summer dresses and gowns.  Mr. X has not only described this "B&W"collection as a study in contrasts in regard to color... but also in regard to hemlines and styles!

One of Mr. X's favorites is B&W # 8; it is a chic french style dress in white with an imperious stand up collar, a pleated styled bodice with artful sleeves and short skirt that adds allure. A white wide brim hat completes the look.

I have paired Sascha's B&W collection with the new necklace, earrings and bracelet set by Zuri Rayna called Vintage Black Bliss Pearl Collection.  The formal diamond shaped pattern of the necklace is complemented by the black pearl drop earrings with diamond flower accents and the diamond flower bracelet.  This art deco inspired set is perfect for any formal occasion and comes in a multitude of gemstones.

Mr. X and the Naughty Watermelon Seller & Poets Heart new release

In early July,  I came upon Mr. X  relaxing languidly in a flower strewn meadow surrounded by trees eating a watermelon.  Always the gentleman, he offered me a vibrantly sweet piece of this summer fruit. As we devoured it he told me how he bought it from a watermelon seller that told him tales of the power of watermelon seeds... 

She told him that one day the two lovers sat about eating watermelon to their hearts content, carelessly, spitting the seeds of the watermelon...all about... in the flowers and the bush, weeds and undergrowth... east and west, north and south... There were so many seeds that they lost count and  didn't see the lone black seed that landed in a bird's nest nestled in a giant oak tree.

The seed lay barren in this tree all through the winter... but in the spring it sprouted first as a vine and then as a flower.  In no time at all, a giant watermelon appeared in the tree and became the home of a nesting mother bird...

Several weeks later, the lovers returning to their enchanted meadow heard scratching, picking, pecking sounds coming from within the watermelon...and low and behold a feathered head soon broke free.... a giant baby bird weighing more than 100 pounds.... red and green from head to toe with seed like watermelon eyes much like the eyes of the naughty watermelon seller.... Baby birds are always hungry... and this one had a rapacious appetite ---needless to say, the lovers were never heard from or seen again.........

So, the Naughty Watermelon Seller told Mr. X to be sure to enjoy the watermelon with his love and chided him to  be careful where they spit the seeds because... no one knows what will emerge next  from the magical watermelon seeds!  

I love this romantic dress called Shamandalie from Poet's Heart in its' delicate variegated wash of color, the off the shoulder asymmetrical handkerchief top and sexy long skirt with it's sumptuous belt that hugs your curves perfectly.  I also love the names of Shamandalie - Morning Dew, Shades of Sunset, Evergreen, Mediterranean Sky, Midsummer Pyre, Crystal Lagoon, Lucid Dream and Withered Flowers.  If I were you, I would just get the fat pack!

Ruffles & Mr. X... Styles By Danielle's new release & summer gift

Ruffles tend to be girlish Mr. X told me.  Not so with the new dress called Chloe by Styles by Danielle.  The ruffles on Chloe are made with a contrasting silken texture and has an asymmetrical cut. Celebrate the 4th of July in Style!

It is almost the 4th  of July and if you want to celebrate it in style... get the Summer Fun Beach Towel and Blanket by Aphrodite at Heart Homes.  Mr. X tells me to throw out the cellphone (it comes with beach towel and umbrella) and talk to him! Not that I babble on and on....

Violator's Tears of White... and Mr. X

It is dusk. I wander in the shadows of  the cloisters the  arches reflect the fading sunlight. Relaxing far from the din of the articulated world I wait here for Mr. X... in silence.... a limbo of long summer afternoons.
