Mr. X and Sydney - * New* Luxe Paris (A Miss SL gown) and Emo-tions

It is where creatives go to meet their muse... in a ballroom surrounded by malachite pillars and lapis lazuli decorated furniture that is dimly lit by sparkling crystal chandeliers --their glow casting silhouettes of lovely women in grand ball gowns...as they glide on polished marquetry floors...can't you hear the waltz...floating on the evening breeze? I love the new gown my Luxe Paris called Sydney.

I love this traditional ballgown with its sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps,  and its signature full skirt that sweeps to the floor. It is so romantic. I love how form fitting the bodice and waistline is that is sure to show off my figure.  What really makes this gown a stand out is the lace and hand embroidered floral pattern that is punctuated by a lavish red flower that ties this all together.

I have paired this gown, that looks as beautiful from the back as it does from the front with the new long hair by Emo-tions that is an exclusive at Tres Chic. It has a medieval vibe to it which i really love. Wearing this opulent gown you will master an elegant evening with style and grace. This gown was made for Miss SL Ireland.

Mr. X and Angel Nuriel and Dreams - CWS and new Emo-tions Hair

Midsummer's Eve was once considered a magical night imbued with supernatural powers. It makes me feel like an  angel and so does  CWS in the new release.... Dreams of woman... Lingerie... it is so opulent and beautifully detailed... your angel will be ready for the "fall"!

Midsummer's Eve  has so many magical powers... it is all the moon.....So much so that summer flowers have their own mythical meaning. I shall pick seven different kinds of flowers and put them under my pillow - and dream of my true love.

Midsummer's Eve is synonymous with late evenings spent in verdant gardens. Echoes of laughter resounding long into the night. 

We sing and rejoice that summer is finally here. What a gloriously festive time!

Mr. X and Fifth Ave. - New Suit by Sascha's Designs @ Swank

Mr. X found a new museum in SL that he told me we must explore. I love art museums in both lives... to gaze upon paintings of masters and discuss the colors, scenes, history and brush strokes for me and Mr. X is pure joy!  And this museum laid out like a real life museum is a pleasure to explore.

Needless to say, the perfect museum outfit is the new suit by Sascha's Designs called Fifth Avenue Suit that is an exclusive at Swank is perfect for a languid afternoon in a museum.

I love the cropped bolero style jacket with silver studs and the wide hat with Jackie O sunglasses that makes Fifth Avenue so sophisticated and sexy. It is made for fitmesh and mesh bodies and comes with shoes, a hat and sunglasses.

Mr. X -- for the birds - splendid and majestic Jumo

Alone in a  sacred valley the daughter of Quetzalcoatl lives...the goddess of wind and learning... she controls hurricanes and dust devils...whirlpools and the waves of the oceans.

She often lonely and often walks the paths of the forest to the great tree. Here she looks to the the west, where mountains rise into the sky... often as the sun goes down she hears a beautiful voice singing from the nearby mountains... she always wondered could it be... could he be --  the prince of the western mountains.

She vows that someday she will meet him. The sun begins to set gilding the mountain peaks highlighting the rich jewel tones of her plumage.  Her wings fly, dance, mesmerize and delight the eyes.  She is hopeful... and luminescent in the setting sun-- adorned with memories of lives yet to be lived and tomorrows to share.

 Mr. X and I  love the elegant East West look of the new gown that is an exclusive at Scala  by Ghee called Jailie. Can't you feel the  flow of the  flower sleeves that  billow like an artful haori. They have puffy shoulders and a square neckline giving it a contemporary look and the headdress is pure  joy.

The solid color of the simple sheath gown that billows out like a mermaid dress gives anyone wearing this gown a sleek and alluring silhouette.

I love the use of  the chrysanthemum, or Kiku as it is known in Japanese, on the artful sleeves and jacket of this gown as well as in the fan head dress. The chrysanthemum represents longevity and rejuvenation.  It is also the symbol of Royalty, the Emperor and the Imperial Family.

Mr. X and Cassiopeia - New Jumo Skin, Eye and Lip make-up and hair

Mr. X... I am confused as to what to wear... what kind of party is it.. who is on the guest list... what is the dress code and, most importantly what is for dinner?

A formal affair of industry titans Mr. X tells me.  Ok, then, I must wear the Cassiopeia Gown by Jumo. This gown is sexy and classy at the same time with  a color changing hud that offers many different colors and three different patterns.  I love the peekaboo crochet pattern in all it's delicious colors.

Tres crochet... this dress is lavished with a beautiful woven top and a deep plunging neckline.  The slender skirt that flounces out a bit at the bottom is embellished with large geometric rosettes that makes it romantically irresistible. Cassiopeia also comes with beautiful gold and silver enameled earrings and a long necklace that sets this gown off perfectly.  I am also wearing new skin by Jumo in Caramel called Taylor with Taylor eyeliners and lipstick that are sold separately.

This is Taylor Cocoa skin that is such a great skin for summer and it really looks good with orange, yellow and blue.  Taylor comes with six eyebrow options making it easy to wear with just about any color hair. The Taylor Lipstick has a wonderful realistic sheen to it and the new exoctic  Taylor eye-shadow that offers six options are a must have. I love the way the orange eyeshadow plays against the skin and matches the gown.

Another beaded version of the Cassiopeia gown has a retro art deco vibe to it... it will make you feel glamourous.  There are many color options for the beaded versions of this gown. I fell in love with the glittering Nile green beaded option although the blue, red, black, purple ... and more are also lovely and at your fingertips with the click of a button!

The hair I am wearing is Whitney Ombre roots blonde also a new release by Jumo. I think she has been a busy lady! The skin is Taylor Frescia.

It's summer and that always gets me in the mood to landscape... so Mr. X and I went to Swank and found several items by TM Creations that were just what we had in mind. The first is the Love Bench that comes with heart of roses ground cover, animations, and five types of particles. It is so pretty.

With so much detail and so many options it is hard to believe that the 100% mesh [Love Bench] is only 9 prims, you can also copy and modify it. The bench contains a menu without poseball (simply sit) for Cuddle and singles animations for 2 persons.  There are 54 animations including 27 Cuddle poses with 30 sec loop x each), for romantic couples moments.  There are also SOLO female/male, 16 animations in all for two people.

I am wearing another find from Swank.  A flirty off the shoulder midriff top, lace up mini skirt and sexy summer sandals that lace all the way up my legs by [ZEX] called Nina.  I love the deep teal blue and the melding of the pattern on the top with the color of the skirt.

I couldn't resist wearing the new leather collar called Delilah by Rebellion with this to kick up the heat a bit!  Another find was the Star Eye Enhancement eye makeup  that is made for lelutka, catwa and slink mesh heads and for classic heads.  The Star eye enhancement comes in  cotton earth, sun, and ocean.

If you are in the market for a Summer Gazebo, TM is also offering a low prim 13 prim mesh Rose Gazebo. So Mr. X...my best summers were spent outside exploring the coastline looking for shells and seaglass. Finding things in my aunt's cluttered barn...world's fair jerky black and white movies, a thousand books, saddles...Civil War uniforms (both sides)... faded photographs of picnics in the backyard... memories of how people use to live.
