Mr. X and Dark Wax in A Greek Vampire Temple @ Swank

My roots are gothic look  and  this June Swank has given me the  opportunity to  just  enjoy my gothic side... and Mr. X  thinks I am almost  irriSIStible !!!   And talking about  irriSIStible    she has  created a  classic gown called  Dark Wax!  I am modeling in it in a new  "Greek Vampire  Temple by StudioCraft that is known for  design, color and  details -- and  both are gorgeous.

The Greek Vampire Temple is at it's very best in Ultra Settings (it renders just fine in  regular settings, no worries). The Vampire Temple has  fine detailed work that reflect Gothic dark dreams.  And, irriSIStible - Dark Wax Mesh Outfit that is made for freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, Physique, Venus is perfect  to wear here with its' dripping waxy and skull hands, flower and candle.  The roses come with a color changing hud.

StudioCraft notes that  as soon as he details things up, the prims increase because of  the intricate details.  As a builder he thinks about making builds as poor on prims as possible. However, he makes his  final decisions by thinking about his own feelings. He wants to be positively surprised when he buys and therefore creates things he likes and enjoys.

Historically and politically correct?  Not always as StudioCraft points out. In his builds, he thinks that artists have the license to break every law to make dreams happen, unless they do harm to others. as for StudioCraft,  if this creator wants to put bluebirds that don't exist in a white tree that does not exist, he does!  He feels that  as a creator he can make something exist -- because that's the wonder of creation. Anything can happen and it does!

So Mr. X... please meet me... now... and we shall explore our dark romance... oh la la... my candles are  burning and the wax is melting.... and I am waiting......

June Swank - Dark Romance & Mr. X!

The June Swank is now open and  features more than 100 designers with  Fashion, Beauty, Home & Garden all exclusives calling to your Deepest Darkest Love!  The theme this month is Dark Romance.  So get  ready to take a step into the original sins of sexy, seductive and morally dark limits... now Mr. X is intrigued.

It is June and the weather is unseasonably cool.  Sitting alone in my study in the Barclay House that is four blocks from Central Park somehow, I end up daydreaming... I am wearing a new dress by Hot Fuss called Icelyn that is an exclusive at this month's Swank.  I love the trailing lace overskirt on this cocktail dress that defines casual elegance. Icelyn comes with a color changing hud for the sash.

This furniture set is also an exclusive at Swank created by {CdB} or Casa de Bebe.  It is perfect for a classic  boudoir -- you know that private sitting room between the dining room and the bedroom. I love the French style of this chaise which is duchesse brisee (broken dutchess) in style.  It is named because this chaise comprises two separate parts and was used by women for reading!

I love the look of a chaise lounge with its beautifully hand carved arms and legs that is only 15 prims; it is very detailed. This one comes with 18 poses for singles and a texture color changer for the silk throw.  The set also comes with a lovely Aubusson carpet that picks up the color of the chaise and a beautifully carved neo -classic marble fireplace with a  photo.  The black marble table with graceful French legs and a beautiful bouquet of flowers that are also included in the set  complete this romantic room.

I am also wearing two more finds from Swank. I love the way the delicate lace collar and cuffs  embedded with moonstones look with this dress. The collar and cuffs and earrings called Dark Romance is an exclusive by  Heartsdale Jewelry.  I am wearing Lima mesh eyes by Yeux.  These eyes are made for regular and mesh heads and there is a special set of eyes in each package for those with Catwa mesh heads.  Relaxing now, reading my very favorite magazine, KMT, I wait for Mr. X as the sun drops and the soft colors of twilight emerges.

Silverwind - is Gold @ Medieval Faire

The melody of the Song of Silverwind will draw you in…it is an eternal melody… one that enchants and entrances… an unforgettable experience of Medieval Times and Role-play… this is what defines Silverwind.   The name alone is enthralling!  Silverwind has opened its doors in January 2017. A highlight of visiting Silverwind is to actually meet some of the team that worked together to create the Sim as it is situated currently.  The original build and Sim layout was created by Seralath Resident, Atrum Aton and many others that contributed so much to the essence of Silverwind. To carry on the legacy, the current teams of builders and creators have put their hearts and souls into making something that they liked and -- something others  in SL will  enjoy. All  are  welcome.

 Silverwind is a gold Sponsor of the Medieval RFL Fair that is happening through June 18.  They have put their money where their mouth is so to speak and Medieval Faire RFL is so appreciative.   As they put it, “It was a good cause and we wanted our new sim to be known. We purchased items along with our donations. We know it is a good cause and we've advertised the fair and sent people to it as well… we are committed.”

The most important thing to know about Silverwind is that it was created for the players. They want to be a place that anyone can call home. That’s why they have a simple dice system; the beauty is that you can create your own spells!   And, better yet, you can also apply for a race that is not on Silverwind’s list.   Another way to spend time on Silverwind is to participate in a storyline or  small event "npc" attacks.  A newsflash ---  is that they are planning larger scale events in the future. 

 If you fall in love with Silverwind, you can even rent a home and create a business.  As for the future, the creators know that the sim will grow with the players and that stories count. The results of the storyline and events have an effect on the sim and the lore and the lure of Silverwind; the hope is that the Silverwind player base will grow along with additional sim build outs. The hall exploded with  cheers... I could not stand it... I ran  to the terrace alone... waiting for  Mr. X... cheers of  bravo and  cries of bravo --- I  try to shut it all  out...I turn pale and begin to  tremble, and I wonder... are they with us or... with them... and then I wonder ... why.....

In the beginning it was always so much easier.  I remember the first time we met. There was something captivating in his appearance, a charismatic presence, especially when our gazes met. What miraculous hours we spent together talking late into the night.

Feminine is what feminine does... and it is always soft and pink and flowing like cotton candy on a lovely  afternoon turned sunset and.... then, early evening. I  love this new gown my Diva Couture that is an exclusive at June Swank... called  Grazia Pastel  a lovely color indeed.

I mean who doesn't like fluff...  and the feeling of floating in SL. This gown has it all. It is made for  Lara Maitreya bodies and has an evocative combo of flexi prims that flow like a wonderful  train and a fabulous side puff and midriff glam diamond at the waist....It  makes me want to  Preen!
