Mr. X & the Ouija Board - Aphrodite @Heart Homes & Indian Summer Hunt @ Ghee

The answers to my questions came fast and furious on this mysteriously fun ouija board called Macabre Soul  Ouija Sofa Set by Aphrodite @ Heart Homes.  Mr. X asked if this was a tool of the devil... a harmless game or a glimpse into a super powerful force of nature...  Even the name Ouija is cast in shadows and mystery... it is said that the creators of this first talking board asked the board itself what it wanted to be called and "Ouija" came through...when they asked what it meant... the board replied... "good luck".... let's hope so Mr. X.

The idea is that two or more people place their hands on the planchette, pose a question and watch as the planchette move from letter to letter spelling out answers seemingly of its own accord. This set called Macabre Soul  Ouija Sofa  by Aphrodite at Heart Homes does not disappoint.  Seated on the comfortable couch, pose your questions and toggle the planchette and watch it move around the board, spelling out your answers.

This set is also fully animated with couples and single poses, plus wacky "horror" poses and even a series of activities like sitting around drinking fine cognac and smoking a cigar!

Mr X - What's Your Punk @ Swank?

Punk started after WWII but really took off in the 70s and since then it has gone thru tons of twist, turns and modifications.  In the 70s the norm was long hair, so punk went short, in the 80s the looks became more masculine to ... in the late 80s glam punk burst on the scene... followed by pop punk and hardcore punk just to add a little more spice to the genre.

Mr. X and "string theory" -Prism Nala by Journey @ Swank!

 Pythagoras could be called the first known string theorist. Pythagoras, an excellent lyre player, figured out the first known string physics -- the harmonic relationship. He realized that vibrating lyre strings of equal tensions but different lengths would produce harmonious notes (i.e. middle C and high C) if the ratio of the lengths of the two strings were a whole number.  Pythagoras discovered this by looking and listening. Mr. X discovered this new dress @ swank called Prism Nala by Journey simply by looking!

Mr. X and the tale of the dragon - *new* BamPu Legacies and TWA Guardians of Mirkwood

Today we went in search of the dragon... Mr. X and I wandered through the mists of a magical forest the path was rough, strewn with rocks and tree branches...we knew it would be nightfall soon and hoped to meet the hermit of the ruins... that the oracle told us would guide us on our way.

The ruins were set amid the most whimsical trees whose leaves and branches curl and sway in a fanciful way.  Their scent is most mysterious and makes you want to sit beneath their majestic branches and fall into a deep enchanted sleep...Mr. X thinks fairies have made them and distilled a bit of fairy dust on their leaves..... I think he is right.   Which way to we turn I asked the guardian... who was holding the most beautiful golden scrolls that gleamed in the night.

I know what you seek said this mighty sentinel...what I want to know is why... we seek what the dragon holds... it is the gift of life... this is what the oracle told us... we seek the dragon with the iridescent blue wings... he told us to look for the broken wagon wheel... amid the mouldering ruins.

At last we found the dragon... the sentinel with his golden scrolls of knowledge helped us to find the precious egg that the dragon is guarding... the question remains if he will give it to the mistwalkers of Mirkwood...

Mr. X & the Joy of Feathers.... NSP @ Swank....

Sometimes I am so old school that I am vintage... think 1920s vintage.  Mr. X and I think there is something so romantically elegant about vintage clothing  because it harkens back to the gilded age of the Great Gatsby.
