Mr X - What's Your Punk @ Swank?

Punk started after WWII but really took off in the 70s and since then it has gone thru tons of twist, turns and modifications.  In the 70s the norm was long hair, so punk went short, in the 80s the looks became more masculine to ... in the late 80s glam punk burst on the scene... followed by pop punk and hardcore punk just to add a little more spice to the genre.

I love this hipster British Punk look that I found at Swank called Brit Pop by Keresma.  It is so much fun.  Brit Pop offers  different colored tartan skirts and a variety of band tees in the finest punk tradition.   Royal Stewart Tartan was a popular pattern for  British society and wearing tartan of any kind in an unconventional way is yet another way punks gave the middle finger to British society and to highlight their dissatisfaction with the way things were.

And, when it comes to band tees you have a great choice -- from the ultimate hard core rockers - the Sex Pistols to the Rolling Stones, Oasis, Radiohead, the Stone Roses, David Bowie and even the tragic Amy Winehouse. This dress is mesh and comes in 5 standard easy to wear sizes.

Autumn Splendor - Purplemoon @ Swank...

I love the warm colors of autumn, especially orange. It reminds me of pumpkins, pies, and gathering around the table with family and friend...
