Mr. X left me a message that The Instruments is opening tomorrow, Feb. 11 and exclusives will be available through February 25.  There are more than 42 designers all offering fabulous apparel that can only be found here.  So get there if you want to create a unique look and make a statement.

I am always on the lookout for new designers that I am not familiar with -- and decided to feature this gorgeous red sheath gown called Penelope created by {~Sahara's~}.  I love this minimalist chic crepe gown that makes me look classically flawless -- need I say that Mr. X likes that!

The gown in red is perfect for Valentine's Day with its strapless neckline and intricate silver and red cutout embellishment around the top of the dress.  Looking elegant has never been so effortless!

Mr. X and Flair - *new* Luxe Paris

On this stormy winter day I am dreaming of Campbleton Bay Tobago.  The best way to get there is to descend through the picturesque village of Charlotteville... you'll see an overgrown  patch of grass and the beginning of a path.  It heads down to this secret bay that is not even listed on most maps. On your way, you may even spot vibrantly colored birds - look for the playful rufous-tailed jacamar...I am looking for Mr. X, this is his kinda beach...rustic and romantic.

At the bottom of the path is a small, heavenly beach where you won't see another living soul...and who would want to. Long vines hang down from towering trees; wading birds hunt fish in the river, the waves break gently on the unspoiled sand. I found the perfect outfit to wear by Luxe Paris... it has "flair" !!

I love this mini skirt by Luxe Paris and midriff top appropriately called "Flair"  in a joyful Caribbean mango colored orange with a grey/black floral pattern. You can also pick up the  matching gorgeous fur jacket that will keep you when the ocean breeze is cool and wafts through a group of almond and clove trees... the fragrance is pure --- crushed seashells mingle with sand making the beach glow pink and sparkle as the sun sets.

Mr. X & Flower Power! New Culco @ The Instruments and Heart Homes for Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day and I love the new Valentine's Day Buffet Table by Aphrodite at Heart Homes... it is perfect for the surprise Valentine's Party I am planning for Mr. X.  If you are reading this... please don't tell him !!  You would not believe all the interactive items that this Valentine's Day Buffet comes with .... Chocolate Beer, a Heart shaped cheese Board, a Pizza Warmer, beef empanadas, Strawberry and Raspberry pie and Valentine donuts and cookies.

Tonight  Mr. X and I will dance and sing, laughing until late. We both try every vintage dance from the foxtrott to the jitterbug.  Later, it starts to rain.  He tells me a little rain never hurt anyone as we make our way hand in hand back to our hotel along the White Nile.

Nancee is the new gown by Sasha Designs and Mr. X thinks it is stunning.  Nancee has sensible sex appeal that teases and pleases -- Mr. X appreciates this.  It comes in an array of stunning colors including seafoam... I love the soft green blue shade of this tone.

Mr. X and Exotica - * new * group skin October 4 Seasons and Dress Zed Sensations

I told Mr. X I needed tiki music tonight... soft gentle exotica (that is what tiki music is called)... the question Mr. X is she or isn't she.... "Taboo"

Mr. X and Zaira *New* Resun

Mr. X said the tickets weren't easy to get.  But, being Mr. X, he got them. I told him I would meet him on Fifth Ave. between East 56 and East 57 Streets...yes, right by Trump Tower!  Resun's new outfit called Zaira is swank and perfect for cocktails on the rooftop garden overlooking the city.

Zaira is smart and sassy! This figure- flattering long skirt is the perfect choice for a fabulous night out. It has a cute belt at the waistline and comes with a color changing hud with 10 color choices-- all fabulous. Mr. X loves the strategically placed peek-a boo cutouts they make him smoulder!

Mr. X and New Beginnings - New Gown - TWA

If I was the Queen... I think I would make that dashing warrior with his golden blonde hair and deep blue grey eyes  one of my most trusted knights.   I know he has a story to tell. One of wildness, romance, bewilderment and dreaming.  I have seen his look before. He tells me he loves my new gown.  I said, of course, it is called New Beginnings and it is by TWA.

I love the texture of this gown with it's lavish floral texture making it a garden of delight in a pastel silk texture of sweet raspberry and mint green... it is fresh as spring itself.  He told me he is a man of unreasonable hope -- an uncommon quality and one that is so desirable for a knight -- he must also have the  unbound belief that one man working alone can still make a difference in the world and in my kingdom... as I look deep into the steel blue of his eyes -- I begin to believe him...

I asked him to meet me by the gate that leads to a hidden garden... to my secret realm where pixie's play all manner of tricks on the unknowing....shall he follow...only time will tell....

Perched on the high tower of my castle wall I look to the horizon of the setting sun and wonder where Mr. X's travels have taken him... what adventures has he had...sadly without me by his side.   Time and obligations have kept me here -- amid the cold stones of this fortress -- alone.

Mr. X and Gaia - New Faster Pussycat @ The Instruments

It's like awaking from a dream... all I remember is the lullaby... soft, sweet...like soft rain on petals...and then the world of spirits and Mr. X.  Waking... I found a marvelous gift from Faster Pussycat.  The gown called Morty Gown Blue is an exclusive by Faster Pussycat at The Instruments and comes in purple and blue.

There is Still Time -- Eshi Otawara Closing Shop Jan. 19

It is with great sadness that I write this... for the moment Eshi Otawara, one of my all time favorite designers is closing her shop on January 19... two words of advice - GET THERE.  Mr. X loves her designs, as an accomplished builder he more than appreciates Eshi's techniques and her artistry -- and he is not alone -- many of us marvel at Eshi's creations.

I remember when I first discovered Eshi's shop -- called Chocolate -- I thought I died and went to SL heaven with the amazing designs and textures Eshi created -- wearing her clothes made me feel beautiful -- I felt like walking art...I still do when I wear Eshi.

To me her designs are timeless. Her textures are flawless and when you are that good you don't need mesh.  Each time I would get a notice that a new design was out -- I think I was the first at the store... I couldn't wait to see what that fabulously creative mind made.... this time... you see, with Eshi, you never know what to expect.

Eshi's designs range from avant guard gowns and sexy cat suits to sci-fi garb that is out of this world.  And, then, there are her hats -- and make up and jewelry... all so well done.  In this blog I am   trying to show a range of Eshi's designs, but sadly this is just the tip of the iceberg.... go visit the shop and see for yourself....

Mr. X and <*>B<*> at the Instruments and Ghee

Mr. X wants to wander today... and I want to look extra special for him.  I have missed him the past few mornings because I have the dreaded flu...and because sometimes, timezones are a real -- ok, I'll say it, a bitch!

I don't want to blend in with everyone else... so I decided to head over to the Instruments.  I found the most fabulous trench coat called Fola Coat Royal by <*>B<*> -- it's perfect! It comes with tons of details like a contrasted collar, wrinkles just the right way, covered buttons down the front and a contrast belt at the waist and sleeves. I combined this with Ghee's Cerulean Turtleneck Sweater, Tights and matching shoes.  Ghee is also participating in the Instruments and I will blog their exclusive this coming week -- it is to die for!

The Fola styled trench coat has fitted princess seams that create a fabulous look- Fola Royal comes in a trendy abstract pattern, another choice is called Mauve Mist, an  attractive floral print that I paired with Ghee's Aubergine tights and sweater.  And, for those that like a monochromatic look, Fola also comes in black and grey.
