I love new Events and who can resist a new event on thru July 25 called Marvelous Event...  and, yes "Marvelous" --- is one of my favorite words and when combined with Lavian and LA BoS poses... I am ready to go on a serious shopping expedition --- so much to find here.... oh la la!

Look at this strappy beyond  flirty sheath  mini dress... it is  alluring and  well  Mr. X can't wait to  unbuckle all the ties in the front... I think he is  feeling frisky... hard to believe any man wouldn't feel that way...  after seeing this  "marvelous" dress.... called  the "Heat is On" --- (Mr. X said no kidding!)

And  yes, this comes with a massive color changing hud -- the dress, the sides and even the cross ties in  front... there are three fabulous packages with endless options from solids to prints to animal prints... i loved Bag #3 of The Heat is On --  but each has their own allure.....

Mr. X and Lillia by Jumo @ Swank

Summertime is picnic time for me and how I love to pack a luscious picnic lunch for Mr. X... ice cold salmon, fresh lemons and capers, a refreshing mango and papaya salad spiked with mint, lime and ice cold shrimp...a beautiful view and a warm breeze carrying the scent of suntan lotion and the faint fragrance of heritage pink roses and lavender.

I found the perfect dress at swank called Lillia by Jumo. It is a floral maxi dress that is in full bloom with beautiful swirling flowers.  It is summer sheer making it just sexy enough without showing all... Mr. X loves the translucent texture of this summer frock.

As with all of Jumo's dresses, a starfish necklace earrings and stachel making this outfit a winner. Matching Lillia shoes replete with starfish and flowers are sold separately.

Mr. X and Isamaya - * A trio of New by Mistique M&F

As yet more royal guests began to arrive, my servants have ensured they are comfortably accommodated in the many small palaces and houses that are dotted throughout the park.  And, the wonderful activities I have planned... after dinner drives under the golden twilight skies around fountains and gardens in a fleet of golden carriages with elaborate carvings and crowns on their roofs.

Alone now in the quiet of the garden, I am wearing a simple gown embellished with a lavish belt with an artful buckle of flowers...it is so pretty and suits this gown by Mistique called Isamaya perfectly.

I love the texture of this gown with row upon row of sequins that glisten like diamonds in the rough. Best of all Isamaya comes with a color changing hud that offers six rainbow colors including: sea green, lime green, gold, pink, lavender and blue.

I take a moment for myself, in another new release by Mistique called Talila - a cute low cut skirt and top that has a Grecian look.  Mistique has also created a gorgeous butterfly cage chair... I love the simple elegance of the caged butterfly chair with it's finely wrought metal cage with nine PG poses comes with  pastel pillows that is edged with a sweet butterfly.  It is perfect in almost any romantic setting -- whether you use it beachside, in the heart of the forest or to sparkle up a corner in your SL home, this butterfly cage is a must have.

Mr. X - A Day @ the Beach @ Swank - Park Place, October 4 Seasons, Selene Creations Heartsdale Jewelery

At the July Swank,  Mr. X and I stumbled on a great beach set by Park Place.  The items sold separately included two pink beach towels at 2 prims each, a  highly detailed rattan hanging lounge chair at 4 prims and a beach blanket at 5 prims that comes in two versions, adult and pg.

There are embedded animations in the blanket (the first to sit will go into the female poses).   Simply right click and select "sit" from the menu.    To change the animations, left click once you are  sitting to get a menu with the selections.    The animations can be repositioned to suit your individual avatar. Touch the blanket - while you are sitting to access the menu and click the [adjust] button.  The blanket also comes with loads of props -- you can read, drink, work on your laptop, chat on the phone and even put on suntan lotion!  It is great fun.

As for the hanging lounge chair, animations are also embedded in the chair.  This piece was set up for only one avatar at a time using the singles animations.  If a second avatar sits, both will be placed automatically into the couples animations.  The chairs are also copy and experience enabled and offer many fun experiences from drinking and reading to cell phones and laptops.

I fell in love with this sexy pink  bathing suit by Selene Creations called Deauville Rose (it comes in a rainbow of other colors). This suit features a deep V cut with a "swank" little belt at the waist and, as Mr. X whispered in my ear while putting suntan lotion on me... it shows off all my assets with tantalizing style! I have finished this look off with the special updated skin offered at Swank by October 4 Seasons - Guiselle Blossom -- it is perfect for blondes and comes with 5 make-ups and even a few natural options, tattoos and is compatible with all mesh bodies. It's one of my favs.

Mr. X and Culco & Heartsdale Jewellery @ Swank

I asked Mr. X to join me in the "no tell- motel" ---a  rustic  seedy kinda place to  just have some fun... the kind of which, I am too much of a lady to mention. The entire idea was  hatched so to speak when I found this evocative "new" little black dress called Corset Dress by Culco @ Swank.  It comes for classic and mesh avatars... so it is sexy on any "body" on the grid. I love a little black dress.

I love the sexy lace corset see thru top -- and --- not so see thru... I love that --- because it says naughty and nice at the same time.... Mr. X loves a good tease.... :P  --- oh no -- did I just kiss and tell.... I hope not... !  The satin  skirt is the perfect with this lovely lace top...a vision in  lace and naughty in this fabulous mini perfect for midnight encounters of the most... shall we say exotic kind.....

I have paired the necklace and earrings by Heartsdale Jewellery named  Rosa also an exclusive at Swank.  It is sensational with its finely wrought  golden flower and earrings that come with a handy color changing hud.  I love the way these flowers blossom in their intricate gold setting. So Mr. X.... let's take wing... and lift our spirits...  I am not accepting the "rat" race as the norm... are  you ---  I know I want the extraordinary always......

A disaster...  like the movie...  the  classic  comedy --- a --Chevy Chase movie... Vacation... where everything goes wrong... except for this fabulous Maxi dress... by... Sage called Christi Dress.... an exclusive @ Swank. Mr. X said, he knows I am  feeling very black and white about things... no worries this maxi comes is so many pastels it will  blow you away!    The exception is this maxi in trendy geometric  black and white that is so "swank" and gorgeous!

Mr. X and Jumo @ Feroush thru July 24

I told Mr. X I love the moment that we arrive at the castle.  As we make our way into the ballroom -- with music  wafting on the evening breeze and candles glowing --  I know we shall  dance from eight o'clock until four, without sitting down once!  Ok maybe, just once!   I will approach and retreat from you as we dance... teasing you in a succession of steps!   And you will be dazzled not only by my loves, but also by the spectacular ball gown created by Jumo called Olivia as an exclusive for Feroush.  This gown is an exclusive that you can pick up there until July 24.

I love the off the shoulder balloon  sleeves or capacious sleeves, justly named en gigot  of this gown that were inspired by gowns created in the Regency era (1811-1820). Mr. X loves the way the sleeves "balloon" out with rosettes and clasped all the way down to the wrist in the style of a gauntlet cuff.  At one time, historically, these en gigot sleeves were called "leg of mutton" but were and are  fabulous examples of timeless high fashion.

This gown, is replete with a bias cut low neckline,  high empire waistline with its bodice tight to the waist and transparent flounces of lace over a beautiful fine floral print neatly embroidered and finished with ribbons.  It is a pity, Mr. X that balls have slipped into something of a novelty in RL, but in SL there are so many places to enjoy a grand ball and waltzing, mask in hand.
