Fashion for Change - Haute goes Ethnic and KL Couture Tallulah

Mr. X told me about a new event that is happening April 11- 25 and it is one that we embrace and we hope that you will too. In a nutshell,  Fashion For Change is a fantastic two week shopping, entertainment and high fashion event designed to raise funds for the charity Womankind Worldwide - an admirable and important RL group that has been around for 25 plus years and is based in the UK with the mission of helping women in the developing world... and they have watch the video at the end of this blog... please....

The Event will run between the 11th - 25th April on its own dedicated sim. There are over 40 Designer Shops - including many of the biggest and best brands in SL.  There will be weekend and midweek live Entertainment and DJ parties.  There will be 4 Fashion Shows.  On the final weekend there will be an incredible Charity Auction of *one only* designs and other amazing prizes.  During the event too there will be a Hunt.  All of this is set in a breathtaking 'city of arts and sciences'.

This whole, amazing event is designed for one purpose, to raise funds for one incredible Charity, that is working hard to change lives, present and future, in the Developing World.  To kick off my first post for this fabulous event i am wearing KL Couture Tallulah -- an exclusive for this event. It comes with a trendy midriff top and harem pants... and a fantastic set of matching jewelry.

Sneak Peek - Mr. X and the devil!

It is true that Mr. X -- has dealings with the "devil" or so he says.... he lives on "devils island"...  it makes me wonder how all this came about... perhaps it was just fate... or could it be... he sent his minions to catch my attention?

Suffice it to say, he has my full attention--- so do the finds at Sneak Peek this month. I love uncovering new fashion finds like this  steel, silver and black finely textured mini called the Dominator Dress by AFI Designs... wow!

I love all the details in the Dominator Dress from the sexy corset top that will make jaws drop to the intricate details of the skirt's zippers as well as the zipper all the way down the back...oh la la!

Swing into Spring @ Sneak Peek with FLN + New Group Gift Skin

Coral that effervescent mixture of yellow and red  named after graceful branches of skeletal sea creatures is hot on the runways this spring. A great find at Sneak Peek is the new gown by FLN called Lorelei Flora Dress that has a long elegant skirt in coral satin designed with a full sweep for flowing movement.  The skirt also has one long sexy slit up the right leg, where many admiring eyes cannot help but wander.

Curve Appeal and Mr. X -- Shey at Sneak Peek + New Skin

Orange, I love this color and Mr. X loves it when I wear it.  He tells me that orange radiates warmth and happiness.  It is an uplifting color, and one that inspires optimism.  For me, I just like orange -- in all ways... marmalade, the flesh of mangoes, the taste of tangerines, life rafts, traffic cones.... and yes, cheetos -- especially.... cheetos !

Mr. X and the Magician - New Release by Wicca's Wardrobe

Mr. X -- sometimes I feel like I am wandering around in enigmas. I see so many things around me... impossible constructions -- ascending, descending -- realizing everything is relative...or is it?  Mr. X says I need a dose of practical magic!

One thing I do know, is that in addition to falling in love, with Mr. X -- I am absolutely in love with the new outfit by Wicca's Wardrobe called Aelinia Jacket {Aquamarine}. I love the striking MC Esher like texture of the jacket that is embellished with a black silk border and a bow at each side of the waistline...just because.

This jacket is like a metaphysical work that invites long hours of contemplation... not only on the nature of space but also on the lattice like structure of coincidence.  The texture on this jacket is simple and yet complex... and makes you a true 3-D sight to behold and -- yes, admire...Mr. X loves this look.

Mr. X told me the best thing about Aelinia Jacket {Aquamarine} is that it evokes aesthetic responses to an artfully designed jacket that has a touch of an optical illusion... Wicca is a magician indeed!
