Let's Go Jeeping!

He said, “Let’s go jeeping!” and I couldn’t resist the adventure. Off we went, barreling through the golden sands of the desert—over towering dunes, skirting a tiny oasis, and passing by the ancient ruins of lost empires scattered like secrets in the dust. There’s something truly special about the silence of the desert; it offers a unique kind of solace, almost like the peaceful lull of the ocean.

For this escapade, I slipped into the Julide dress by Aura Designs in a bold leopard print. It just felt right—like channeling a cheetah or leopard that once roamed these very lands. Lost in A Japanese Water Garden wearing Nala @ Swank

There’s nothing quite as soothing as spending an afternoon in a serene Japanese water garden. Surrounded by vibrant flowering trees and lulled by the gentle melody of water cascading from one crystal-clear pool to another, I find pure relaxation. On days like these, I love wearing my new gown by Nala, called Nayra. I picked the pink version (though it’s also available in black, brown, and green), because in Japanese culture, pink is a symbol of spring, femininity, and youth—thanks mostly to the beloved cherry blossoms, or sakura. Plus, pink just makes me happy!

Under a golden tree forming a canopy of fallen leaves in hues of rust and gold, the Autumn Queen quietly presides over her kingdom. Her hair flows like a cascade of crimson, and her golden horns, entwined with fragrant autumn leaves, shimmer delicately, embroidered with the first hints of frost. I love these horns by Goddess Creations called Mabon Ritual Horns.  The horns come in three styles: Mabon, Deity (both worn in this blog), and Sunflower.

I have paired this look with a lovely sheath-like dress by Kitty Creations called Winslet that comes with a fab color-changing hud and is made for  Larax (worn), Kupra, legacy, peach, juicy boobs, reborn, and waifu. I love the slit up the side of the shirt that allows me to romp through the forest to my heart's content. 

The belt at the waist and the simple tube top are perfect for showing off the full body tattoos by Venus called Petrina.  This tattoo comes in many variations, from aged to faded, fresh, color, BW, to old and tinted, and is an artful montage of fantasy creatures. Although the Autumn Queen is sad that summer is slipping away, she looks forward to transforming the woods,  painting each tree in mesmerizing shades of amber, bronze, and red—a magic that every leaf understands. The Autumn Queen's whispers ride the restless breeze, filling the air with earthy scents and guiding flocks of birds toward their southern, sunlit havens. Even as the air grows chilly and hints of winter begin to stir, there's a unique warmth in every crimson leaf she bestows.

Out Shop Cancer Returns for 8th Year in Support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

 The 8th annual Out Shop Cancer event is set to return this October in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society. Running from October 1 – 31, 2025, this beloved fundraising event invites shoppers and hunters from across the Second Life grid to come together for a cause that touches millions.

Back again this year are the Out Shop Cancer Main Store and Marketplace Shopping Event and the ever-popular Grid-Wide Hunt, offering endless opportunities to shop, explore, and discover while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support services.

Adding to the excitement, from October 15 – 31, the special themed event “Out Shop Cancer: Goth Darn-it! Let’s Find a Cure!” will take place, bringing together one-stop shopping in the Pop-Up Market, an inspiring Art Walk, festive pumpkin and float decorating contests, interactive workshops, and a full lineup of live entertainment.

Every Linden raised during Out Shop Cancer goes directly to the American Cancer Society, funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, patient support programs, and awareness efforts.

Eda Dress - A Victorian Dream - Poison Rouge @ Collabor88

 As the golden sun sank low behind the magnolia trees of Charleston, the air turned crisp with the first whispers of fall. The grand oak-lined carriage path leading to the Fairmont Manor glowed with amber leaves, rustling beneath the hooves of arriving carriages. The Autumn Ball had arrived. And so have I, in the new gown by Poison Rouge called Eda, a chestnut-colored gown worn amongst the sea of pastel gowns and silk gloves; I stood as the embodiment of the season itself.

 This gown, Eda in Chestnut, flows like the smooth fall of leaves—a breathtaking cascade of creme, chestnut, russet, and warm sienna, much like a Victorian dream. I love when a gown is as beautiful from the back as it is from the front. I know that the rich layers of silk and taffeta catch the gleam of candlelight as I move. A delicate ruffle frames the neckline and sleeves, adding an ethereal softness to my elegant silhouette. 

As I stepped through the grand double doors of the Southern ballroom—filled with golden chandeliers, sweeping staircases, and music lilting from a string quartet—every gentleman turned to admire me. Murmurs flitted through the room like flocks of sparrows."Why, who is that vision of fall's finest beauty?" "Never have I seen a lady wear the season so well." "She must be the Autumn Belle herself." An array of well-dressed suitors, from dashing young heirs to silver-haired colonels, vying for my attention, offered dances and declarations of admiration. For me, this night is a celebration of warmth before winter, a moment of grace before change, and beauty born in the hues of the harvest. And as the night deepened and music echoed through the Southern sky, the Autumn Belle danced on—forever etched in the memory of Charleston’s most unforgettable evening.
