Mr. X feelin lucky @ FFL and Aphrodite @ Heart Homes

I am feeling lucky in this new find at FFL  called Crocheted Shift Dress by Culco.  I love the sexy lace insets of this dress !   Mr. X says he feels lucky looking at me wearing this stylish dress -- giggles!

I love the macrame designed insets that are in the front and on the sides of this flirty shift dress that can be dressed up or down -- I think it puts a great spin on a "classic black" dress because it hints at a cool boho style.

If you need to decorate for St. Patrick's Day, head over to Aphrodite at Heart Homes, they have made a series of low low prim  trees that are perfect for Saint Patrick's Day.  All tress are copy and low prim.  They are available separately and also sold as a fat pack.

 One large tree has a rainbow pointing to a pot of gold -- the leaves are of course shamrocks.  Another tree has a cheerful leprechaun that peeks out from behind the shamrock tree. The names of the trees are Leprechaun tree with or without pot of gold, End of rainbow tree with dropping coins and more and the lucky charm tree with dropping shamrocks!

Mr. X and the Tempest - * new* TWA and October@ Skin Fair

I went to gaze at the temple we build together ... it has three tiers that I will fill with flowers. We have  painted our temple columns with gold... my darling architect prince tells me that I am a true princess of the dawn... and always, I seem to be waiting for the sunrise and my beloved.  I will wait for him in the shadows of the columns... in the new gown by TWA called Tempest Gown Set- Memories.

And when he arrives -- the horizon sparkles with gold that radiates... off the gold columns... he is my sun indeed.  Today we will bring flowers to the gods... and ask for their blessing... as our future is muddy like the Nile in full rage of spring flood -- this is what the soothsayer of the Siwa Oasis told us...  not long ago...  Siwa it is the same sacred oasis where my cousin, Alexander the Great went for inspiration.... will we ever will find our way...I fear the path is long...and difficult.

I love the  fluttering cape of the Tempest Gown Set- Memories and its lovely bodice with it's criss-cross top and long flowing skirt that is embellished in gold, silver and electrum... it symbolizes strength and dedication...

Mr. X - Guys & Dolls - Curious Seamtress at FFL and October 4 Seasons Skin Fair

 Kembri Tomsen the owner of Curious Seamstress specializes in historical and vintage clothing from 1830 through to 1930.  Most of her garments are made in the Victorian style or are from the 1920s.  I just love the glamour of the 1920s so, how could I resist wearing a  heavily beaded dress called Evening Shadows Poofed that is an exclusive at FFL (Fashion for Life, part of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life).  It  must have weighed a ton to wear... so pour the champagne!  And, even better, something for the guys--- keep reading!

Mr. X tells me that most of Kembri's  designs are based on existing pieces that reside in museums and private collections embellished with her personal touch and sense of whimsy to bring the dress alive.

Interestingly, the Curious Seamstress does not recolor  the gowns or dresses she recreates in SL. Each gown is in its original color, though sometimes she will enhance the  look with a bit of artistic touch up to bring them back to their original state, virtually speaking.

 Kembri considers herself to be a fashion historian more than a fashion designer. In addition to supporting FFL, she also likes to teach others about the history of fashion if they have an interest. And, thank you Mr. X she did not forget you guys... she has made you a period suit..... and, a "California Dandy" at that!  What's not to love ---

Mr. X with a swirl and splash of color, the March Instruments begins today and runs through March 25... there are tons of great exclusives here and plenty of time to check out all the wonderful items here... all are great finds and, best of all,  affordable  Feeling flirty and feisty...I decided to wear the new gorgeous exclusive dress called Urbana by {BLB}.

Sometimes, I love to dress casually elegant... it is a look that has a certain panache and is not that easy to achieve... even Mr. X with his critical eye for fashion agrees that is  usually a challenge and it is an exlusive by Baboom for Fashion for Life !

Exploring the exclusives at the Fashion for Life Sims, whose proceeds go to the American Cancer Society I  just had to have the Peplum top and the Mira leather pants by Baboom. Mr. X and Speranza and Selene - Posh Pixels FFL Exclusive

I love vintage styles and Posh Pixels has created two great looks  for Fashion for Life.  I adore --Selene with its tight sheath dress that comes with a color changing hud,  sexy mid- length sleeves and cute beret. I have paired this with Lavian & Company shoes Faith, also an exclusive for FFL. The skin is October 4 Seasons is new and called Catalina Blossom.

Sometimes, I love feeling like a  vintage vamp... there are so many classic details with this dress it even comes with a cigarette but -- I don't smoke...  even though it is not harmful here!  Ok, I smoked in college... but that was a very long time ago... so if you smoke... stop!  If I could, so can you... ok, end of lecture... just get to Fashion for Life!

Sometimes, like tonight,  I recall an evening with Mr. X... we strolled through a beautiful garden in the heart of the city.  We lingered.  We heard slow music that makes us want to dance. I wore my new gown by Posh Pixels called Speranza.   It is a must have exclusive for Fashion for Life that benefits the American Cancer Society. 

I am a vision of elegance in this breathtaking  strapless sweetheart styled deep purple floor length gown that has a fabulously layered chiffon skirt that creates a flattering silhouette.  The tight bodice with a floral sash and sheer half sleeves embellished with a floral design add an extra touch of glamour.
