Mr. X and Gaia - New Faster Pussycat @ The Instruments

It's like awaking from a dream... all I remember is the lullaby... soft, sweet...like soft rain on petals...and then the world of spirits and Mr. X.  Waking... I found a marvelous gift from Faster Pussycat.  The gown called Morty Gown Blue is an exclusive by Faster Pussycat at The Instruments and comes in purple and blue.

Morty Gown Blue has a dreamlike sublimated texture that reminds me of an the impressionist painting -- or a stained glass window by Tiffany... wearing it I feel like walking art.  Morty Gown Blue is an elegant mermaid styled gown befitting a princess  that anticipates spring and is somewhere between demure, ultra feminine and  romantic and totally worthy of an earthly goddess!

There is Still Time -- Eshi Otawara Closing Shop Jan. 19

It is with great sadness that I write this... for the moment Eshi Otawara, one of my all time favorite designers is closing her shop on January 19... two words of advice - GET THERE.  Mr. X loves her designs, as an accomplished builder he more than appreciates Eshi's techniques and her artistry -- and he is not alone -- many of us marvel at Eshi's creations.

I remember when I first discovered Eshi's shop -- called Chocolate -- I thought I died and went to SL heaven with the amazing designs and textures Eshi created -- wearing her clothes made me feel beautiful -- I felt like walking art...I still do when I wear Eshi.

To me her designs are timeless. Her textures are flawless and when you are that good you don't need mesh.  Each time I would get a notice that a new design was out -- I think I was the first at the store... I couldn't wait to see what that fabulously creative mind made.... this time... you see, with Eshi, you never know what to expect.

Eshi's designs range from avant guard gowns and sexy cat suits to sci-fi garb that is out of this world.  And, then, there are her hats -- and make up and jewelry... all so well done.  In this blog I am   trying to show a range of Eshi's designs, but sadly this is just the tip of the iceberg.... go visit the shop and see for yourself....

Mr. X and <*>B<*> at the Instruments and Ghee

Mr. X wants to wander today... and I want to look extra special for him.  I have missed him the past few mornings because I have the dreaded flu...and because sometimes, timezones are a real -- ok, I'll say it, a bitch!

I don't want to blend in with everyone else... so I decided to head over to the Instruments.  I found the most fabulous trench coat called Fola Coat Royal by <*>B<*> -- it's perfect! It comes with tons of details like a contrasted collar, wrinkles just the right way, covered buttons down the front and a contrast belt at the waist and sleeves. I combined this with Ghee's Cerulean Turtleneck Sweater, Tights and matching shoes.  Ghee is also participating in the Instruments and I will blog their exclusive this coming week -- it is to die for!

The Fola styled trench coat has fitted princess seams that create a fabulous look- Fola Royal comes in a trendy abstract pattern, another choice is called Mauve Mist, an  attractive floral print that I paired with Ghee's Aubergine tights and sweater.  And, for those that like a monochromatic look, Fola also comes in black and grey.

I just couldn't resist blogging another exclusive by <*>B<*> called the Burna Coat and Dress, it comes in many colors, but I fell in love with the rich color called  Cognac -- to  be honest, I could go for a healthy shot of it right now... for medicinal purposes of course!

Mr. X and Louise - *NEW* Luxe Paris and Luna @ Instruments

It's winter -- outside there is a "snow shower" --  the air is crisp and cold... the sky is a glorious blue... Mr. X and I love the winter landscape and all the tree branches, stone walls, fences, benches and even roof tops that are nestled  under a blanket of snow.

And, then there are the dark, frigid nights... perfect for cuddling by the fire.  We love to hear the fire crackle --- there is nothing like the sound and smell of wood burning in the fireplace on  a winter evening during a snowstorm.  Feeling cozy I decided to wear one of several  new releases by Luxe Paris called Louise Cape & jeans.  

This classic poncho lends itself to a relaxed drape that is oh so cozy.   This contemporary styled poncho with its  stylish cowl neckline, basket weave texture that is almost 3-D and fringe make it the perfect choice for a night out -- exploring a winter landscape, cuddling by a fire or dancing the night away.

The matching tight suede pants that come with this outfit match the buttons on the poncho's cowl neckline pulling this look together.  Manon Heels by Wicca's Wardrobe with their  particularly unique spike heel and color changing hud just add to this look.  I love the artful design of these shoes.

I have paired this look with "Moon" nails made for slink hands and feet by Luna.  These nails  embellished by  a crescent moon are an exclusive at The Instruments.  They come with a color changing hud in trendy colors that that go with so manystyles.

Mr X and Blanche - New Jumo @ The Instruments

January's theme for the Instruments is Earth...Mr. X told me that the word  "earth" goes back to the 5th century AD with the migration of Germanic tribes from Euope to Britain. The word earth originates from the Anglo-Saxon word erda and its Germanic equivalent erde that means ground or soil.  The new mermaid style gown called Blance at The Instruments has a texture of bare tree branches and will make you  feel like a goddess of the earth.

Wearing this  new release by Jumo, I feel like a goddess, standing at the center of the earth -- forever, in a promise of immortality, the tree of life promises immortality spreading its roots and branches in a cascading network of color. Blanche comes in Earth (worn), flora, forest and sand.

Blanche also comes with a fabulous necklace that is tribal  chic with gold beads, tassels, onyx and bone.  I love it, in addition to two chain bracelets with tassels, matching earrings and two rings.  The jewelry exudes power and grace and catch the light with each step you take.  I could not help but pair this with October 4 Seasons new skin, Guiselle in Mocha.

Earth is the only planet not named after a mythological Greco Roman God; nevertheless, wearing this  exclusive gown by Jumo at the Instruments makes me feel out of this world...it is heavenly and a must have.  It  makes me want to reach for the stars... as I wait for Mr. X... to take me to the moon!!
