Temptation and Mr. X @ 24 Squared

We are counting down to the 24 Squares opening event on September 5 -- but in the meantime, Mr. X found another exclusive for me to wear by Jumo Fashions.... the Temptation Dress !

Mr. X always tells me that I am his "sweet" temptation...and in this glittering cocktail dress with its' plunging neckline and deep slits up each side --  I feel like the ultimate "sweet" treat!

Temptation is encrusted with thousands of sequins that gleam and glitter catching the light perfectly making sure all eyes are on you! Temptation was made exclusively for The 24 Squares Event, it is a unique item, only a few pieces will be sold at this event, then it will be removed from the world and not go on sale again.

Sold separately, the Temptation dress comes with a pair of glittering sequins shoes that match this dress perfectly.

For jewelry, I am wearing Isabella in Sterling and sapphires...  I love this classic Edwardian inspired choker that is made of the finest lapis lazuli collar embellished with scores of  the finest Burmese sapphires, pearls and cascading silver chains.

Tiers of Lace and Mr. X - Exclusive Release by Paisley Daisy - The 24 Sneak Peek!

I told Mr. X that sometimes my mind wanders back to tiers of lace and intense ornamentation, clothes that are both sumptuous and luxurious...Mr. X  likes this.....

Mr. X told me, "Sita, you must have the limited edition gown called Guilded Baroque  by Joeylin of Paisley Daisy  featured at The 24 that begins Sept. 5 and is produced by Siren Productions.

This gown is influenced by Valentino... and he defines elegance. The texture of the Guilded Baroque gown is intricate with handstitched cascades of lace and beads like a constellation of stars... this gown is elaborate in its simplicity.

The stand up collar adds glitter in the night... it is striking ---  like the perfumed air of mysterious allure... perfect for a late summer eve.

The 24 - Sneak Peek Jumo Exclusive

The 24 event begins September 5th and promises to be an unforgettable extravaganza... this is no surprise, Siren Productions always assembles some of SL best designers.  Jumo Fashions is one of these designers and I got a sneak peek the Carmine Couture Gown that was made exclusively for The 24 Squares Event.  Only a few pieces will be sold at this event, then it will be removed from the world and not go on sale again.

Carmine in lavish satin with a cascading train and sexy lace insets is the ideal ball gown for any formal occasion that is sure to turn heads.  Since only a few will be sold, most can admire but will never have this gown -- so make sure you are one of the lucky ones to scoop this beautiful gown up.

I have paired Carmine with the exclusive jewelry set also offered by Jumo called Superb Jewelry Set that comes with two bangles, earrings a  square shaped marquis ring and a  gorgeous necklace of beautifully faceted stones.  The jewels are easy to resize allowing you to fit them with many different looks.

Carmine also comes in black made of satin and embellished with midnight lace.  I love the back of this dress -- it is elegantly sexy...and Mr. X loves that as I love the touch of his hands on the bare skin....of my back while we swirl and sway on the dance floor.

The Consort Jewelry Set by Jumo catches the light with every step you take.  The set is composed of  bangles, earrings a necklace and ring.  The jewel tones of the white and black  pear shaped diamonds set in gleaming gold will look gorgeous with anything. Let them eat cake and Morphine Skins New Release @ Kings and Queens Fair

Let them eat cake...those are the words supposedly uttered by Queen Marie Antoinette during a famine that occurred in France during her brief and tragic reign.  There is no actual record that the Queen said these words and today I told Mr. X that this quote is more or less an invented anecdote -- he agreed!  

Speaking of Queens don't miss the Kings and Queens event - 50 designers on sim from Sept. 1-30 -- and don't miss the new dress by Morphine Skins called Beatrix that is fit for a Queen!  This was shot at Lea 18...Frankx Lefavre new build....it is out of this world.

Aphrodite for Heart Homes has been busy baking... cakes of course and who doesn't want a Dalek cake! If you are not in the know, Mr. X had to tell me all about Daleks, they are robotic looking cybernetic organisms that are the enemy of Dr. Who! Intensely xenophobic and bent on universal domination they are feared throughout the universe but make great cake!

Aphrodite has also made a Dr. Space wedding cake and I would use this to celebrate Dr. Who that crafty Time Lord that explores the universe in his Tardis, a sentient time traveling space ship that resembles a British police box!  

This cake is musical and even comes in 8 delectable flavors. Your guests can touch any of these cakes pictured and get a slice of cake with a fork... there is enough cake to satisfy every sweet tooth on the grid!

Another version of the Dr. Space Cake has been whipped up for a Happy Rezz Day or Birthday Party! 

This cake is musical and comes in 8 delightful flavors replete with a festive Tardis space ship topper!

For all you mermaids out there, Aphrodite has made a delightful mermaid cake gaily decorated with fish and mermaids... your fin adorned friends can have a slice of cake that comes with a silver fork!

The Queen Roses birthday cake plays the traditional birthday song and even has an on off switch for the candles... so your guest of honor can actually blow them out!  Try clicking the base of the fountain to shut the water and sound on and off... this cake is truly fit for a Queen and so is the new dress called Beatrix Elegant by Morphine Skins.
