Mr. X and the Dark Bride by Jumo @ Bloody Valentine Bride @ Scala

Valentine's Day has been  a favorite date to get married... especially for hopeless romantics.  Now in its second year, Scala has organized the  My Bloody Valentine event  runs through Feb. 17.  Jumo is a sponsor and has created a gown called Dark Bride  and it comes in two versions that is included in one package both versions are perfect for a "dark wedding"!

Dark Bride is made for mesh bodies and comes in five sizes.  The flexi prims add  touch of flowing elegance that will make you float down the aisle!  The texture of  this gown is intricate and beautiful and is embellished with a swirling floral print and birds giving it a sorta dark asian vibe.  The first version is called  Cabernet.

The second version of Dark Bride is called "bloody" -- it is embellished with blood splatters all over the gown... it is perfect for vampires --- or those that love the darker side of Goth.

Dark Bride also comes with a long red veil, elegant floral headpiece that adds just a touch of light and drop pearl earrings.  I told Mr. X when wearing this that my kisses are as icy as  a glacier and that my caresses are like a snake gliding through the rough brush ready to strike and draw "blood".

Mr. X and Eleanor -Aleutia and Luminesse @ Swank

Dreaming of a long ramble around a quaint seaside town... salt water taffy and long walks on a boardwalk weathered by the elements and time... and the many feet that have walked along the aged planks.  I found the most sensational outfit at Swank by Aleutia called Eleanor.  It comes made for mesh bodies and for maitreya bodies -- I am wearing my Lara Maitreya and have not had to make ONE adjustment - Yay!

 I am in love with the slit in the sleeves of the square neckline.  Best of all the sleeves have a semi transparent pattern that mirrors the pattern in the mini skirt... Eleanor is so well made. There is a hud for the top where you can change the blouse and sleeves separately -- there are 30 colors to choose from and all the new trending colors for the season.

In my blog, I tend to favor the fire colors, warm reds, passionate golds, vibrant orange -- but, I also like blue, ok Mr. X likes blue...and the blue pattern in Eleanor's skirt is beautiful... it reminds me of a turbulent ocean with its swirling pattern.  Eleanor has six different skirt patterns to choose from.... I am just showing three, all are fabulous.  One thing I really like about Eleanor is that it is damn sexy from the back... with its wide open back and flowing sleeves.... it is pure romance!

I have paired Aleutia's Eleanor with another find from Swank, the earring and necklace set by Luminesse  called Lum Yeshia Raelee.  I love the heart shapes in the drop earrings made of the finest citrine and the lovely gold necklace made of citrine and topaz with it's artful arabesque shape

I told Mr. X I had a surprise for him... if you promise not to tell him.... I will share my idea... I want to create a timelessly stylish space for Valentine's Day --- a place that is classically contemporary... a place to capture magical moments together... but nothing to "gushy" !!!  With this in mind, I searched the grid and ended up at Swank. I found a perfect setting by EED Home and Garden that I am sure will set the "mood" for romance. Each piece is sold individually so  you can pick and choose according to your needs... but oh they look so good together !

I love the fireplace  with its fancy fire screen and blazing fire, best of all it is only  4 prims... unbelievable!  The  Valentine's Day wreath embellished with roses looks fab over the fireplace and again is only  4 prims. I placed two plants on either side of the fireplace for a little greenery and to  bring more red into the room, each plant is only 2 prims.  One of my favorite pieces is the opulent heart sculpture on the wall  is only 6 prims the detail is beautiful -- it is eye catching and really helps to tie the room together.  On the mantel of the fireplace, I used two finds from Swank, the K Soft Valentine Candle 2  and Valentine Day's Heart that comes in  9 colors by Kaya's Ray of Sunshine.

This Valentine's Day love seat called Valentine's  Day Romance in Red by EED also an exclusive at Swank is just what I was looking for.  I love the sinuous metal curves of the love seat with silk velvet red pillow cushions, floral throw and decorative floral pillows.  The detail is amazing  on the base of the seat with its floral rosettes and graceful French legs.   The couch comes with poses for couples (8) and for singles(3) it is easy to adjust and is only 8 prims.

Of course, this would not be complete without a sexy Valentine's Day Dress... and I found a skin tight square neckline sheath dress  by ::Alter called Vianney and this dress comes loaded!  It is made for classic mesh bodies as well as for slink, maitreya (worn) and belleza bodies.  It also comes with shoes for slink high feet and maitreya (worn)... they are black and red and can be used with so many other looks.  They are so stylish.

Vianney also comes with a complete set of matching jewelry. I love the rubies set in gold and this set is perfect.... not too big and not too small... I especially like the dazzling dangling earrings.... I have paired this outfit with another Swank exclusive by Letitiuier  called Angel Hair that is in an updated bob look -- I am wearing it with a mesh head and it fits beautifully... so you can easily wear it with a regular or mesh head with no worries. I am  wearing two of Mr. X's favorite colors that has sent the sycophants scurrying like ants. The audacity! The nerve! That dress and those boots... the February exclusives at Swank by D. E. Designs called Valentina
the red version is ideal for Valentine's Day, if you want to wear red (I love red year-round) and the sky blue is blissfully romantic... both are must haves.... really....

I love the fact that Valentina comes with matching boots for mesh slink and maitreya (worn) high feet.  The dress is available in  in 5 mesh sizes and and can also be worn with Lara Maitreya (worn), Slink, Belleza and TMP.  Not to mention this dress is beyond stylish... the details are amazing.... and the textures are expertly crafted.

Delightfully chic the skirt is exquisite with a delicate lace with a delicate floral pattern that is  artfully draped over the a silk slip. Lacey, feminine and unforgettable... this will become a go to outfit.

I have paired this with a new choker necklace and earrings that have my heart....  by !Lyrical B!zzare.... they  are an exclusive at Swank and are universally beautiful.  

The hair is new hair by Jumo called Whitney... it is soft and sensual.... and just right for this look.  The concept of this hair is the fact that it has been made with the styles that celebrities in RL wear....  there are four new releases, Whitney is just one.... stay tuned.

The Sky Blue version is heavenly. Consider the facts, the asymmetrical  ruffled pleats and bow in the front is coquettishly fun and the V neckline is sexy.  The fine texture of 100% silk crepe de chine looks fabulous on your body.  It seems to flow and move with you.

Mr. X -- a dark Valentine.... My Bloody Valentine @ Scala thru 2/17 !Lyrical B!zarre

Valentine's Day is around the corner.... and I can't wait.... kisses and cuddles.... chocolate.... and .... well giggles.... that is "up" to Mr. X to decide!  La Scala  is presenting  a special  Valentine's Day event --- My  Bloody Valentine.... that runs through Feb. 17.

Not everyone is happy or feels loved just because it is Valentine's Day.  And the handpicked designers  have a darker, more dramatic  take on Valentine's Day --  like this amazing dresses by !Lyrical B!zarre.

 With that in mind I will be featuring several participating designers that explore the dark side of Valentine's Day.... for those that dare!    Today, I am highlighting  two exquisite dresses by!Lyrical  B!zarre...  she is one of my favorite designers on the grid -- I love her I creativity, and eye for detail  -- she never disappoints me.  This dress is called  Lenore.

 Lenor has a gothic vibe with its  flouncy black gauze lettuce edged, handkerchief hemline and  velvet lined black lace long top with its  sexy high neckline.  Velvet and lace leggings and sexy platform heels for slink high feet are included.   Lenore comes in  5 mesh sizes -- I am wearing my Lara mesh Maitreya body and slink feet.

For me, the highlight is the intricate head piece that is a cross between flapper, goth and cyber with a dash of celestial flowers on each ear. It completes this look and makes it out of this world. I am also wearing a gorgeous  necklace by !Lyrical B!zzare called Octavia that is also available at Bloody Valentine. It is  a beautiful  wrote gold and ruby necklace and earring set that is classically gorgeous.... you will be seeing more of it!

The second dress, Evangeline is a  beautiful carved velvet ball  gown with a faint floral pattern that is the essence of grace. The bra top is reminiscent of feathers and the texture is sensational.

I love the necklace that comes with Evangeline  This stylish choker  with its black tarnished  silver and drops of red rubies hint at the past, present and future... and drapes gracefully at your neckline.   I paired this with Octavian earrings that are  ornate and fit for a dark Valentine's day Queen.

Evangeline's headdress replete with horns is feathered with obsidian beads that echo the bra top of this gown hints at a past that is not entirely innocent.

Mr. X and Janine * New* Sascha's Designs and *NEW Jumo Hair and Eye shadow & Possession Poses @ Swank

The theater lights dim slowly as Mr. X and I walk down the center aisle, slowly, hand in hand --- looking for the perfect seat.  Heads turn when I walk thru the doors --- and it is no surprise I am wearing the new  release by Sascha's Designs called Janine.  This is dress #3 I love the rich vibrant colors of this hud. Janine  comes in three versions - Dress #1, #2 #3. Each one has a  color changing hud of five colors. The poses are an exclusive @ Swank by  PosEsion called Cooper.

Jaine is a glittery affair with a soft sheen and an alluring texture made of soft polyester crepe.  The pattern actually reminds me of a batik with a modern twist. It has a carefully constructed V neckline with sleek silhouette.  It is made for mesh bodies and comes in 5 sizes and an alpha layer. It is also easy to wear with  Slink, Maitreya (worn)  and Belleza mesh bodies - just adjust an alpha layer here and there like I did.  Check out dress #2... Love It! Although all the hud options are great, I love the combo of this green and turquoise.

Whispers erupt, like a wave across the silence. Almost loud.  This theatre is considered to be acoustically one of the five best in the world.  I hear the comments... stunning, elegant... where did she get it... look at the slight sheen.... and the wave of her hair and the way Mr. X looks at her with pride.... as she takes his arm..... Wearing Dress #1.

I have paired this with the new hair release by Jumo called Lindsay and the new eye make -up  called Power. It works with letuka and catwa mesh heads - regular mesh heads using a omega system for the brand (worn) and it also works with  benito heads.

Luxe Paris and L.A. BoS @ Swank + !Lyrical B!zarre and New Art Gallery!

I told Mr. X that I just adore the new flirty frock by LUXE Paris  that I found @  Swank that is featured for this February round.  LUXE Paris is a high quality fashion brand for women & men, inspired by the Parisian haute couture and created by the professional model Parisian Skytower and the fashion editor Mika Palmyra.  And, this dress called DB is fantastic!

I love the modern geometric pattern of this dress with its semi transparent layers that give this dress so much depth... the style is an instant classic and best of all it is made for mesh bodies as well as for
Maitreya (worn), Slink and Belleza bodies.  It can be modified with alpha  huds of Maitreya, Slink and Belleza for the perfect fit -- if I can do it so can you!

I also came across a new set of poses  at Swank called "Bag It" by L.A. BoS... they are great with just enough movement to make for great images... but not too much exaggerated movement... if you know what I mean. The poses are realistic... it is easy to imagine a RL model in these poses.  There are ten exclusive must have poses!

I love the new earrings and necklace done in the brightest red enamel color edged with gold called Trapese by !Lyrical B!zarre.  Check out the graceful figure on the necklace and earrings that float in the air with grace!  I also love the combination of black, red and gold... it is so rich and sophisticated
