Mr. X and Spey @ Spoonful of Sugar - Sonatta Morales

Mr. X asked me to meet him in the Essex Public House established in 1784.  What kinda girl does he think I am to meet him in such a commonplace... a public house no less. God alone knows what kind of men lurk there... and makes me wonder why Mr. X has insisted.  I will fix him... I will meet him in a new  gown by Sonatta Morales that is available at the Spoonful of Sugar Event that runs through Sept. 25 and benefits Doctors without Borders, a worthy cause if there ever was one.

The new gown that is an exclusive at Spoonful of Sugar  is called Spey. It is a perfect example of a 1950s mermaid style gown with its long sleek silhouette to the knees that shows every curve perfectly before it flairs out with a fluted hemline at the bottom of the dress. I love the way it "fishtails" out and so does Mr. X... I got a whistle and a hug... as he whispered, "what is a girl like you doing in a place like this?"  Smiling I said, why, Mr. X.... I am meeting you!

This gown has been a staple for years for all formal occasions because of its flattering fit and glamorous look. It is in a rich plum color perfect for autumn and is embellished with sumptuous gold beading in a floral pattern down the front of the gown.

Mr. X and Ghee @ MILES OF MEMORIES through Sept. 23

The Miss Royalty Organization is hosting a charity event called “Miles of Memories” to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The event runs until midnight on September 23rd. 100% of proceeds from exclusive or re-color designs will be donated to the Vermont Chapter’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  Ghee is offering an opulent fairytale gown called Mom Purple Haze Gown and Headpiece in rich ombre shades of lavender.

Is Mr. X Mysterious... Sascha's @ Swank

This dress has to be one of the most flattering dress of the 20th century. A tight pencil black skirt,  shaped black polka  dot silk blouse that is classic... Mr. X likes that and this is the exclusive dress by Sascha's Designs for Swank  called Abstract Dress Black and white  And, yes,  tonight I have the blues.. why... because I can.

Mr. X and Sushi Monster Truck by Heart Homes @ Creative Collectors Box

Although food trucks seem to be a new trend in America, they actually date back to the late 17th century when an early  form of them could be found in many of the larger cities on the east coast. Since then, food trucks have taken a  front seat in the world of American street food and are front and center in the part of an ongoing food revolution.  With that in mind, Aphrodite at Heart Homes has created the must have Sushi Monster Food Truck.

It is great fun to watch or to play a master  sushi chef and to make all kinds of sushi.  The truck comes with tons of cooking animations for prep work, chopping, dicing, rolling and even serving !  You can do this work in sequences making the experience realistic and fun. There are 46 animations and 22 props to play with !

 You can also stand and eat all the sushi that you want by touching a sushi item that attaches and then disappears at ease!  You can feed as many friends as you like and even rezz picnic tables and festive lanterns!

Low in prims about 24 and cute on both sides, the Sushi Monster is not only great fun it is a must have!

A new fun find at Swank is called Hang with the Big Dogs by Outside the Box, designed by Kasslina Moonglow.  This rustic bench can be used inside or out... it is perfect for a porch on a cabin or in the interior of a rustic log cabin.

 The chair has a wagon wheel back and a plaid cushion in a light antique  pine finish.  The bench  comes with two beautifully rendered dogs and a grey tabby cat, a bucket and a sign that says it all... "If you can't Hang with the big dogs, stay on the porch."

And I am also wearing a tank top and leather pants called Ivy by Posh Pixels.  The pants have fabulous details... two zippers and pockets and oh la la skin tight. The pants and tank top are made for classic (which I am wearing) plus slink and maitreya bodies.  Best of all choose from 40 leather shades... yes... 40!

I love the swirling details of the tank top with its spaghetti straps and relaxed fit that drapes elegantly just above the waist of the pants.  Best of all both the tank top and the leather pants comes with an amazing color changing hud in the latest fall colors that range from black into various shades of blue, browns, reds, violets... gold... white... actually 20 choices that compliment the slacks!

Magical Finds @ Swank... HJM

Mr. X and I were looking around this month's Swank and found so many fabulous things perfect to embellish our ever evolving landscape and our homes... yes homes... we have several.  There were so many things to choose from that I thought I would blog a round-up of some of our favorite just to give you an idea of the multitude of things to be found at Swank.  For example, the low prim bird bath by HJM Designs called Nature Birdbath is ideal for any outdoor setting. It comes with flowers, a friendly deer, flowers and grass, a cute little red snail and even a dragonfly that circles the bath. Best of all, of this it is only 8 prims. Touch to toggle sound on and off. The birdbath is mesh and copy.

For a magical mood,  Magic in the Woods also created  by HJM Designs fits the bill with a little elf that seems to have a glint of mischief in his eyes... he reminds me of Mr. X who always seems to have that same mischievous glint!  This comes with a cute little elf sitting on a stump,  two more tree stumps, a mushroom, squirrel, pine trees and grass. There is even sound that you can toggle on or off.  It is part mesh and copy. Amazingly, this build is only 8 prims.  And, no the cranky elf on the stump is not, I repeat not Mr. X!!!
