Mr. X and Robyn - New Release Sascha Designs & October 4Season Skins Group Gift

Mr. X has left me a beautiful gift -- one of the best gowns to date designed by Sascha's Designs called the Robyn.  This gown has luxurious textures that will dazzle the crowd and so many skirt options that you get many gowns in one -- with one option better than the next.

One thing is for sure...Robyn will turn heads.  The gown has a sweeper version, a full grande gown skirt for those very formal balls, a mermaid skirt and an elegant sleek version. Mr. X loves them all and so do I!

As for colors, they are pure opulence.  Choose from pink, moss, choco, blue, beige, red, purple and gold... or better yet, don't choose at all, just get the fat pack...I did.

Mr. X and the Keys....Holy Shirt at Sneak Peak

Women today are flocking to tight designer jeans, narrow at the bottom and low at the waist, hoping to accomplish what the gym couldn’t.  "Well, their wallets are thinner," Mr. X mutters!

You, my love,  have never been one to follow the crowd; so I’d like to suggest something different. A new take on the silhouette that made stars like Harlow and Hepburn lankier, leggier.  Yes, wide-legged pants in denim by Holy Shirt with their high waistline and gold chain belt... sweet. Smiling Mr. X, asks, “Hmm, you look taller, somehow; new hairdresser?”

And to set off the entire look is a fabulous bustier with a zipper right up the front... oh la la!  I spotted the original in Paris, where they know a few things about flattering the female form and now in Florida Keys.... Let's go ......  on an adventure......after all the bikes are leopards and zebra prints.... catch me if you can!

Mr. X and a very late lunch Holy Shirt's new releases...

She gets up around noon and does whatever it is that she does...before shopping.... Mr. X always wonders.  When she shows up late, it's late.

But, what an entrance in this new release by Holy Shirt simply called "Shirt Dress".  It comes in  argyle, red, black, blue and in a rose pattern all come with a matching heart shaped purse.

I love the way the tones have contrasting sleeves, collars and hemlines, it is such a distinctive touch.  I have paired this with Holy Shirt's "Dolly boots"  they are hip and complete this gorgeous retro ensemble.

Ok Mr. X... not hanging by the telephone much longer ... the after holiday sales have begun........

2015 - A Pleasant Surprise - Masoom @ Sneak Peek and Muse @ Genre

Last night the clock struck 12 and today is a new year... and what better way to start off the new year than by picking up a new cocktail dress in white silk at Sneak Peak by Masoom called Pleasant Surprise.  I can't think of a better way to start off the New Year... can you?

What I didn't realize is that Mr. X, knowing I am an Egyptophile, left me a most wonderful package from Muse... I felt like Howard Carter when opening this absolutely stunning jewelry set called Ma'at-ka-Ra Full jewelry set that is an exclusive for the Genre Event.

The set comes with two arm bracelets for men and women, earrings, a headpiece, a traditional Wesekh collar for men and women and an ornate nose ring that goes from your ear to your nose.  It is really easy to resize so wearing this is a breeze!

This set is expertly  rendered in the finest 18 kt. gold hand wrought loops embellished with the finest Persian turquoise.   There is great historic meaning to this necklace.  Hatshepsut Ma'at-ka-Ra was the first female pharaoh of Kemet. She reigned between 1650-1600 BC during the 18th dynasty. Ma'at-ka-Ra means 'Truth/Order/Balance ("Ma'at") and the Spirit/Double ("ka") of Ra'. Hatshepsut means 'Foremost of Noble Women'  I know for me, it will become a go to favorite necklace.

New Year and Mr. X - New releases by Heart Homes and Jumo @ Sneak Peek

New Year and resolutions... I asked Mr. X if he had any and he scoffed at me because he believes you should continually try to better yourself and be "nice" to people every day not just on New Year's Day.

Sitting around the new Candlelight Dinner Set by Aphrodite at Heart Homes we wondered just how the tradition of New Years Resolutions began.

This table comes with a 5 step menu of options from rezzing plates, lights, hats and even tiara's (just touch the New Year's sign by the champagne) to turning the lights on and off.  And, because it is Aphrodite at Heart Homes, the dinner is delicious and romantic!

As for resolutions, the earliest recorded were traced to the ancient Babylonians that made promises to return stolen objects and pay their debts.  The Romans made promises to Janus, in medieval times knights took a "peacock" vow... and the this tradition has continued through the centuries......So Mr. X what will you New Year's resolution be?  We  want to know.
