I love thoughtful understatement. And Mr. X loves the classically feminine look. We both love summer frocks that  knock it out of the park and are good to go to almost any event from a casual dinner party to a night dancing under the stars.

The new dress and shoes by Ghee called Allium it is sold exclusively at the Designers Showcase through May 31.  It is so stylish and elegant -- and comes in 8 gorgeous custom colors - matching shoes are sold separately.  Allium is made for Freya, Slink, Isis, Lara, and Venus mesh bodies.  The pumps are made for bellezza, slink & maitreya high mesh feet.

Many of Ghees outfits are mix and match and inspired by nature.  The plant in RL called Allium is  in the onion family and has a glorious globe that crowns a graceful stem. Like  the plant, this dress comes in  the same colors of the globe- pink, white, yellow, blue and purple in addition to black... and it is stunning! The hair is a new style from Jumo called Kristen

 I love the way the pattern of the allium embellishes the dress and the way the one shoulder top with it's cute ruffle adds an unexpected edge to the classic skirt of this outfit.  It is perfect for a summer ramble and is sure flood your inbox with invitations!

1)      The contest will start on Monday 01 May.

2)      All women wishing to take part MUST be more than 6 months old in SL.  P.S - I will check lol

3)      All women entering this contest MUST also be in either The White Armory group and/or the Silvan Moon Designs group and either one or both of these groups must be showing in your profile groups list.  Again I will check! lol

4)      No previous modeling experience is required.

5)      Entrants MUST wear clothing for ALL set challenges by The White Armory or Silvan Moon Designs only.

6)      Jewelery, hair, skin, shoes, etc can be worn by other designers of your choice.

7)      For this first stage, the entry, please send a head/half body photograph of yourself wearing your favourite gown or outfit by either The White Armory or Silvan Moon Designs.

8)      All photographs taken for the challenges MUST be taken by you and not by another photographer.  Also, no photo morphing please.

9)      You may edit your photos yourself.

10)      Only one entry permitted per person.  Please DO NOT enter Alts into this contest, I will find out and this will result in disqualification!

How I love a trip to the fair....  there is a certain romance to the smell of cotton candy and the up and down motion of a ferris wheel...  I found the perfect mini dress that is an exclusive Swank called Yarkarta by Chi that is made for mesh bodies.

Yarkarta comes with gladiator lace up sandals a massive color changing hud that matches the  dress.  The boots are made for slink and maitreya high feet and are a must have with 20 colors!

Ch's  exclusive dress Yarkarta  is made of skin tight curves hugging silk with an amazing hud. You can change the color of the dress with a hud that combines 20 solid and pattern colors in total.  The patterns range from leopard and abstract prints to  floral textures.  The hud also allows you to  can change the metal of the neck chains and harness.  Mr. X really adores the way the side of this dress laces up my thighs... what I like, best is the mix and match color changing hud --- that provides endless hours of possibilities and I love surprising Mr. X!

Medieval Faire Opens May 19 - June 18

Are you queen of the fairies or  queen of your castle, a serving wench, robber-baron, Emperor, rouge or a noble knight?  Perhaps you are a Lady at Court or a flirty milkmaid with the King's son. If you enjoy role play or just want a fabulous period outfit to add to your wardrobe, don't miss  the Medieval Faire, opening  Friday, May 19, to benefit Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society.

The event features two full sims loaded with plenty of entertainment and shopping, set in a beautifully lush medieval village.  Clothing, jewelry, weapons, furnishings and much more await you around every corner.  But watch out!  There be fire breathing beasts about!

The faire, similar to a real world "Ren Faire", offers medieval tournaments in jousting, swordplay, magic, archery, and horse racing.  There are over 50 merchants supporting Relay For Life, each featuring items that will be sold for 100% profit to Relay. On the entertainment front, a dozen live performers and many DJs are all donating their time and talents to Relay For Life.

Don't miss this exciting month-long event; try your hand at all the sports, find that perfect outfit or decor item, or enjoy live musicians and dj sets!  All for a good cause --- to find a cure for cancer.

Mr. X and Constance Stanbury *NEW* !!SMD!!

It is the 1850s. At the mouth of the Baltic lies the gilded city of Saint-Petersburg, lined with ornate palaces and home to the Romanov dynasty. And, !!SMD!! has made the most beautiful 18th century Rococo styled gown called Constance Stanbury in the finest courtly fashion to explore any 18th century SL sim.

Constance Stanbury is made in the finest 18th century Rococo style with a tobe a la francaise consisting of a jupe (skirt), stomacher and low cut ruffled bodice with marked waist and flowing loose hanging back folds, called Watteau folds. This gown is made of light silk taffeta and damask -- historically it came in soft pastels such as this lovely purple or pink that I am wearing.  This gown also comes in blue, black and white, red and teal and is made for Slink and Maitreya Mesh bodies.

The hat is an artful display of lace, flowers and feathers... perfect for a proper lady in the 1880's!  The hair I have on is no longer made although may be available on MP.

Imagine walking the historic streets of this fabulous city. Known as the Venice of the North the wide avenues and grand neo-classical styled buildings are amazing. Nevsky Prospekt is St Petersburg's best known street cutting through the historic center from the Admiralty to the Moscow Railway Station then on to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery. Palaces, cathedrals, theatres grace the streets all leading to the magnificent Winter Palace.

Mr. X and the Elegant Pirates Daughter *NEW* Wicca's Wardrobe & Gift!

Yes, they have  daughters (and probably lots of them !!)... those wicked men of the seas... and gorgeous crafty daughters at that...those Pirates....  this new outfit by Wicca's Wardrobe is an elegantly whirlwind of a twist on.... steampunk  pirate chic.....I love the new dress called Alethea with its extravagant color changing hud. The back of this dress is as cool as the front -- Mr. X loves that kind of detail and so do I and Wicca has such a wonderful eye for detail!
