Swank opens its doors 2019 on January 7th with fantastic exclusives in apparel for men and women, accessories, home accessories and much more making Swank one of the best shopping venues on the grid year after year.  I think it is one of the best shopping venus ever!  One of the Swankest finds at Swank this January  -- and there are so many -- to tell you about is called  Corinna created by AnaSTyle --- one of my longtime favorite designers.

I love the fact that Corinna is in red, Mr. X just loves me in that color.  The outfit is complete comes with the jacket and skirt that is made for mesh bodies (5 sizes) and mesh bodies including Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass and Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy and Fine, Voluptuous, Freya, Isis, and Belleza.   I love the fringe and the ties on each side of this pleated mini skirt... so does Mr. X !   Corinna also comes with gorgeous spike heeled highly detail boots made for bellaza, maitreya and slink feet.  Corinna even comes with cool arm bracelets that add to the retro coolio vibe.

Sparkling floral embroideries embellishes this cute jacket and short suit outfit called Incanto that is new by Fellini Couture.  The glamorous beaded floral pattern along the shoulders and sleeves takes on a starring role that will make you shine like the sun in any venue.  This new outfit is an exclusive @ Sense Event.

The beautiful silken sheen of Incanto makes it easy to dress up or down.  The mini-shorts drape more like a skirt than a pair of shorts and have a touch of glitz with sequins mixed into their center setting off the applique on the shoulders and sleeves. This is casually chic and with the interplay of applique and sequins mixing at whim, it is more sophisticated when everything is not matchy matchy.

The January 2019 Dazzle Fashion event is open and features tons of exclusives at affordable prices that are created by top SL designers... just like this exclusive called Time Melt Sage by Moonstar.  This is a new designer for me and I love what she has created exclusively for Dazzle.

Time Melt Sage is the perfect combination that is elegantly casual.  I love silky green tank top that is embellished with a fabulous clock that is slowly melting...  just like 2018 has melted away and is now but a memory.  The top is a really beautiful shade of jade green... one of my favorite colors... and one of Mr. X's favorites too!

The slacks have an urban cool vibe with zipper pockets and zippers up the cuffs giving them a really unique look in a contrasting green that blends perfectly with the top.  I love the fact that Time Melt Sage also comes with strappy high heels... that are made for Belleza, Maitreya and slink feet. It is the cusp of the New Year and I don't have one resolution in mind... how bad is that!  I suppose a goal heading into the New Year should be trying new things, learning new things and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. As for SL I hope to improve my styling and photography skills and write of course something that will help others.  I love blogging for Jumo... I have done so for a very long time and it has been a pleasure to watch both of our skills change and evolve with all the technology the grid offers us... and, of course, challenges us with!

I love her glitteringly chic new gown called  Emanuelle Gown.  It is a Fitted Mesh Gown,  with a 25 textures in a HUD to change it.  This gown is made for mesh bodies including Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, Tonic and Fitted Mesh.

The Emanuelle gown also comes with a fur jacket with 25 textures hud and Emanuelle Earrings, original mesh by June Monteiro.  This stylish outfit is just perfect for bidding farewell to 2018 and saying hello to 2019 !

Even though it is late in the year, if you have not found the perfect gown for New Year's Eve, head to Swank today and pick up the fabulous mesh gown by Glitter called Sophie.

I love yellow and have not really found a good yellow gown in SL since a large ball gown eshi made that is not mesh so I can't wear it anymore.  Sighs.  In any case, today at the Dazzle event I found a great tulle gown by Prism called Chelsey in yellow!  And it is gorgeous!

Chelsey is an exclusive at this month's Dazzle event and is made for classic avatars as well as belleza, fitmesh, mairtreya, slink and tmp bodies.  It is a combo and includes flexi prim layers that make you feel like you are floating across the dance floor...Yay!  I love doing that with Mr. X.  It also has a fabulous sequins bodice that adds just the right amount of dazzle!!

Chelsey comes with a beautiful pearl necklace and earring set in yellow gold and platinum that helps to complete this classic look.  This classic gown also comes in a variety of colors.

New @ Ghee - Winter Essentials @ Designers Showcase

Today is officially the first day of winter and I can't think of a better way to kick it off than with this the new Winter Essentials Collection by Ghee that is available at the Designers SHowcase through December 31.  I just love love love the thermals and advise you never to go out in the cold without them!

 The new thermal longjohns come with a 12 color changing hud that can be applied to all mesh bodies by the appropriate omega applier.  I like that fact that there are little icons of which part of the clothing you want to change making this hud really easy to use.  Mr. X tells me these longjohns are snuggable and I agree!!!  I have paired them with the Slouch Boots -- also by Ghee that are made for mairtreya, slink and belleza high feet... just look at the detail in the boots!!! Amazing.

Ghee is well known for its stylish, elegant and wearable fashion, in unique textures and colors and the Faux Fur Jacket that pairs beautifully with the Longjohn Thermals will not disappoint.  I love the square shoulders of this jacket and the leather sash that adds a dash of contrasting color.  The colors of the fur offered are really unique and imaginative... making this jacket "essential"!

I told Mr. X that when I think of Candy Canes I immediately think of Christmas!  There are so many explanations of how the candy cane came about-- they are as much an ornament as they are a confection.  People munch on them and decorate with them...and wonder how they originated. Some say they are fraught with Christian religious symbolism, a sweet offered to kids to be good in church, or a confection dreamed up by a candy maker in Indiana to express his Christian faith... who knows -- its charming folklore and tradition.

I love the peppermint flavor of candy canes and was delighted to find this fabulous outfit by irresistible at this month's Swank that is festively embellished with candy canes... makes me feel as sweet as ... dare I say it... sugar!  Candy Canes for Christmas also comes with gorgeous silk opera gloves that have six different hand movements that add pizzaz to this look!

Winter is here and so is the flu season and poor me has the flu!!!   I am feeling a bit better though and decided to celebrate my slow recovery with a new blog for Swank featuring DE Boutique, there are three exclusives to be found here... in addition, I have also included the new eyes by YGTL!
