Maya and Mr. X- Sascha Designs @ The Instruments thru Sept. 6

Mr. X is waiting for me on the veranda, enjoying raki and meze, when I breeze into the sunlight wearing this skin tight colorful halter dress that is an exclusive by Sascha Designs at the Instruments... it is as beautiful as the color of the sea and sky.... and Mr. X thought.... I looked exquisite.

I love the multi color flora and fauna of this mini that was definitely designed for attention.  I decide to tone it down a bit  with passion pink.... as I make my way to a  tiny hotel that  sits right on Bosphorus Strait, a 19th-century distillery renovated into a twenty-room enclave.  A secret to most, I thought.  I like the idea of a pirate's lair and Mr. X... especially .....wearing this.

Sascha's  dress called Maya... comes with a vibrant color changing hud that  offers five pantone colors... I am showing my three favorites although the lemon yellow and red are totally gorgeous and.... beguiling.

Tonight I think  I will  tell Mr. X about the greatest pirate ever, a woman, Hsi Kai, who commanded 50,000 pirates in the early 1800s (U.S. only had 5,000). Hsi Kai eventually agreed to a truce with the entire world all at once (because they just couldn’t beat her).  Let's see what he thinks about that.

Mr. X - Back to School @ Sneak Peek Luxe Paris Exclusive

Mirrors and Mr. X - Virtual Diva Couture @ Sneak Peek

Marie Antoinette had everything.Her father was emperor. Her husband was king. She was queen. But... there is always a but... which means, forget everything I just said......

But Versailles suffocated her. She hated the acres of ormolu, miles of mirrors, armies of flatterers. She yearned for something else; she yearned for innocence...with a saucy side... of wow !! Just  like this new exclusive by Virtual Diva Couture called Mirrors at Sneak Peek.  

 I love  the  layer upon layer of tulle of this bell shaped skirt that is sheer and innocent... like a lovely ballerina stepping on her toes for the first time.  It is the perfect "cupcake" shape associated with the Lolita look.

The fine tailoring of the top with  it's  collar neckline, the criss cross  halter top and the remarkable hat embellished with lavish flowers evokes a Gothic Lolita neo Victorian look....a clothing  style marked by conspicuously dark, mysterious.... and yes, even antiquated features..doll like features.

So Mr. X since this look harkens back to the 19th century, I am on my best behavior... speaking politely...and crisply.... no slang, I promise and seeing through less jaded eyes.  So, my dear, Mr. X shall we promanade?

Mr. X and Judith @ The Instruments - * New * Wicca's Wardrobe

Mr. X told me to celebrate the onset of autumn I should wear the new dress called Judith and headpiece called Jude by Wicca's Wardrobe that are exclusives at The Instruments. It is a wild -luxe mix straight out of the warm colors of the New England autumn woods primed for the fashion eccentric in all of us.

Judith is for the woman who wants to wear it all... short mini and a long trailing train of glistening autumn leaves. It makes me want to march through the golden carpet of the season! I have paired Wicca's Wardrobe's new gladiator  heels called Laureen Heels with their striking gold accent buckles that are exclusives at The Instruments. I love these heels because they can be worn with so many things on the grid.

The headpiece that comes that matches Judith is called Jude, also an exclusive at The Instruments. Jude is as creative as it is beautiful with it's accent of yellow leaves, gold leather and roses the color of marsala wine ---

Blossom and Mr. X - New Ghee @ the Instruments

Ghee brings a preview of their new  Fall 2015 Collection to the August round of The Instruments... and what a treat it is... and so is the new skin by October 4 Seasons called Alisha in Pearl- to die for and I never kiss and tell... 

Mr. X told me he loved this dress in marsala, the pantone color of the year... it is no wonder why it combines the deep colors of the earth with the fire of red tones... it is like the satisfying richness of a really good meal.

Mr. X was entranced by this "flavorful shade" -- that is artfully combined with Chinese brocade flowers that flow and beguile and  date from the Suzhou  tapestry once worn by the Dragon Empress Cixi... and she was  amazing....

I love the  shoes they are elegant and made of embroidered  velvet.  They come with a hud that matches all the colors of this dress. The shoes mirror the  floral brocade in a snazzy design -- and the bell sleeves are pure art  --- that is  so ghee... sophisticated with a dash of fun...

Mr. X and Serenity - CW @ The Instruments

With fall approaching, the color palette changes and at this round of The Instruments (through Sept. 6) the colors and designs are inspired by artisan colors to reflect a season roused by various vantage points from the past and present.

Mr. X bought me the most gorgeous gown by CW called Serenity in brown.  It was more like the rich shade of  cognac whose name alone leads to glamorous illusions. This classy gown outlined with the glint of gold thread around the neckline and down the skirt of the gown takes fashion into a sumptuous realm, making this a perfect gown for evening wear.

Serenity in orange is radiant like the setting sun over a tropical lagoon --it is both evocative and dignified and totally unforgettable.

The veil of this gown has the glimmer of a flower tattoo that is so unusual... I love this detail...so did Mr. X.  The drop leaf earrings in finely wrought  gold with a diamond stud sparkle like a crystal ball are included in this  set.

Mr. X told me that Rayne Couture is offering a new group gift... a fat pack of three colors called Paris.  It's a cute textured crop top and mini skirt that is delicately striped. I paired the yellow version with fringe heels called Chiffon by ghee.

Paris reminds me of an outfit inspired by indian summer and wanderlust with dreamy indigo and spice market hues in silhouettes designed to flatter.

Mr. X & Superstition - New Gown TWA and Necklace Muse

I am naturally superstitious...I always throw spilled salt over my left shoulder. I keep rosemary by my garden gate. I have my gardeners plant  lavender and roses for luck and love.

Speaking of love and luck, I remember seeing him for the first time.  The sound of a war horn sliced through the silent courtyard. As though summoned, a dark shape condensed out of the mist... a knight in full armor riding a huge stallion. 

Horse and man seemed one, indivisible, fierce, unforgettable. 

Our eyes met and lingered....with the implied yes.  He told me I looked like an elegant maid in this new creation called Superstition by TWA. The gown comes in many colors - lavender, purple, gold, hunter, blood to name a few. I love the V shaped neckline and puff sleeves.

He loved my smooth white skin -- pale like spun moonlight and my hair raven black.  Dressed in a brocaded silk velvet gown that is blood red and black, the colors of my father's keep...he told me I was unforgettable.  The necklace I am wearing from Muse called Perpetua has a color changing hud that allows you to change the colors of the pearls, brooch and gemstones... it is amazing.

On a "romp" with Mr. X - New Wicca's Wardrobe & FAD exclusives

Rompers began as children's clothes which explains their similarity to overalls and jumpers.  They became the go play clothes of the 20th century and are hot and trending during the 21st century.

What I told Mr. X I liked about rompers is that they are versatile. They are just as easy to wear to the beach as they are to wear out... they are playful and give you a comfy feel.

Bargains @ EVA # 10 thru Aug 16 + October New Skin

Eden of Virtual Arts (EVA)  - Mr. X and I liked the sound of that... and the bargains to be found there are a bonus!  Here everything is exclusive and on wicked sale, under 150L and most way under that from fabulous designers. For the naughty girl in all of us (I know it lurks in all of us..... right?), there is  the sexy new outfit by CNZ called Mimi.  This is a steal!  It comes with two wire bracelets, fishnet stockings and sexy booties.  It also has bows in all the right places... so it is sugar and spice.... and everything well latex! Mr. X and Princess Jasmine -New Fellini Couture

 Mr. X waits patiently for her to arrive as the sun drops into the horizon at that time of evening when the sky is kissed by lavender...and fireflies alight and swirl like magical butterflies.

 She always comes to him in shades of darkness; tonight he waits and calls her name softly in the wind...Jasmine....
