This dress reflects Christian Dior's soft rounded  "new Look" that took this decade by storm.  Betty  is a perfect example of 1950's elegance with a ballerina length hem and a cinched waist for a delicate,  feminine hourglass look.

I love the flowing full circle skirt and cinch waist; they are  so sexy in a feminine way.  The form-fitting material clings perfectly to my "natural" curves and the gloves add the right touch of elegance.

Poets Heart at Fantasy Fair and Silken Moon's new May Gift

Mr. X and I decided to dress as fantasy wayfarers... those historic figures that drifted from town to town peddling their wares.

And, where to find such an outfit.... at Fantasy Fair of course. Our quest led us to Poet's Heart...and what could be more appropriate than one of her featured items at the fair than Wayfarer Ancient Forest in emerald and jade green with its' cute leggings, slippers and tunic styled top. This outfit comes in a rainbow of colors and will be available at her main shop after the fair.

Rather than a carapace of burden, I am carrying another excellent creation by Poets Heart that consists of a beautiful acorn and floral staff called the Awakening of Spring that comes with a beautiful floral headpiece.  These are also sold at Fantasy Fair.

And for the skin, I am wearing the new May gift designed by Malicia Python of Silken Moon called Walourgis in Pewter.  This fantasy skin with its' green lips and a hint of green blush and artful wisps of hair under a pewter cap is perfect for a fantasy look.

Historically, the wayfarer is at a crossroads and is about to choose a path...I have my trusty staff that will help  guide me along the winding forest path that is a maze of  unknown challenges at every twist and turn.

Mr. X and the Diva... by © Champagne! Sparkling Couture New Release

Mr X and I talked about how much the meaning of the word diva has changed. Originally it celebrated a woman of great talent in the opera... and slowly over time this meaning was extended to the theatre, cinema and of course popular music.

In dressing to meet Mr. X tonight, I could not resist wearing the new gown by Enzo Champagne called "Diva." It is irresistible in Nile Green, one of my favorite colors.

The interplay of silk and sequins is intricate and beautiful with tone on tone of green expertly textured amid a pattern that dazzles. The bodice of this gown is embellished by a flurry of feathers crowned  by a sumptuous pendent.

Expertly accessorized this gown has opulent drop earrings in emeralds and peridots with their mellow glow symbolic of  love and warmth.   Wearing this indeed brings out the "diva" in me.... Mr. X likes that!

Divina and Mr. X new release by Gold in the Night

Mr. X has been a long admirer of Elisea Carter, the designer of the elegant line of women's apparel and CEO of Gold in the Night.  There is a timeless elegance to designs found here...with a dash of alluring sensuality. Divina, a new release by Gold in the Night is a dream in cream. Divina  is embellished with feathers that float and add interest to fine finely textured skirt. 

A gorgeous lace waistline accented with a band of silk and roses give this dress an air of the sophisticated designs of the 1950s glamour.  I love the slender emphasis on silhouette and form that this design has.

The bodice is a sleek and feminine combination of beautifully textured silk replete with wrinkles and shine that is embellished with lace and a silk scarf for your neck.
