Violator's Tears of White... and Mr. X

It is dusk. I wander in the shadows of  the cloisters the  arches reflect the fading sunlight. Relaxing far from the din of the articulated world I wait here for Mr. X... in silence.... a limbo of long summer afternoons.

What better to wear than Tears of White by Violator, this dress is simply elegance in motion with it's flowing sleeves, side cape and graceful tentacles.

The jewelry that come with this dress is magnificent... a grand golden collar spiked with the finest diamonds adorned with a billowing cluster of flowers.

An artful arching golden staff off the right shoulder is embellished with a dove and a golden chest button adds flair.

High Impact & Mr. X - new release Silken Moon

Wandering around Lea 18 has inspired me to surprise Mr. X with a bold high impact look...

And, what better to wear for this than the amazingly avant garde new release  called Chonophilia by Silken Moon.

White as the moon on a winter night Chonophilia gleams with points and tentacles giving this look an otherworldly feel that is just so cool!

The best part of this look is you dress it up or down so to speak as it is extremely versatile and well made. 

Perhaps I shall wait in hiding amid the "Insidious Ideas" of Lea 18 for Mr. X... looking almost like an assassin on a mission...

The Comic Princess and Mr. X at Penumbra Fashion Week

Sometimes it is important to just have fun... this is what Mr. X thinks anyway, and I tend to agree with him.  Too much "work" on SL is just silly!

With that in mind, I decided to wear the exclusive release from Penumbra Fashion Week by Holy Shirt (what a fun name for a clothing brand)  called Comic Princess.  With it's mosaic of cartoon characters and print, I feel like I would be the most popular gal at the comic book store on the Big Bang Theory TV show!

There is nothing like the luxurious feel of leather... soft and supple... that sets the senses racing. Mr. X left me a box... with a note... "Sita, love, wearing this you will indeed be a "novel effect"... this dress is fun, feminine and sexy, and made for a night out... I know how much you love that."  Nadine in Leather by Morphine is an exclusive release at Penumbra Fashion Week.

The box contained four new leather dresses by Morphine called Nadine's Leather Dress.  Nadine comes in red, pink, black and bronze and is the perfect cocktail dress with its' sexy square  strapless neckline and  fitted bodice.  This shift style dress is simple with flattering A-lines and a flounce at the waist that embellishes the look. 

Another exclusive at Penumbra Fashion Week is  the new skin also called Nadine that comes in Peach, Tan (worn) and Native. Also included in the skin package are Lush appliers, LT/Mirage, Phat/Cute Azz, blue and enchant eyes and two shapes. The brows range from natural, berry, black, brown and light.

Morphine is also offering another fashion exclusive at Penumbra,  a simple powder pink shift dress called Celeste's Dress.  This cute dress has an elegant  floral pattern that begs for summer walks on the beach.  I like the detail of the multi-colored belt at the waist that pulls this look together.

Vengeance & Mr. X - and Blackjack Hunt at ghee

Sascha Designs has just released an elegant fitted mesh gown called Vengeance... perfect for making someone eat their heart out for you! This gown comes in silver, gold and black.

Fitted Mesh is a technique in which an avatar's collision bones are used to add further deformation detail to clothing. In other words, it allows you to adjust your body using body shape sliders in the appearance editor resulting in clothes that can adjust to customize your avatar's  body shape and style.

The shape of Vengeance, a mermaid styled  gown has been created in an evocative way.  If you zoom in from above your  boobies will be fully exposed.  If  you are demure and innocent in nature like me.... (Mr. X loves these qualities)  there are three options that obscure "the view" so to speak.

The first is a lace top, my favorite, the second is a lovely sash that drapes across your shoulders and the third are Art Deco bows made of lace.

Alot has been written about the power of vengeance. I want to be indifferent to vengeance. It's degrading. Not having a spirit of vengeance protects me, internally.

This dress reflects Christian Dior's soft rounded  "new Look" that took this decade by storm.  Betty  is a perfect example of 1950's elegance with a ballerina length hem and a cinched waist for a delicate,  feminine hourglass look.

The poses options are amazing because you can scroll through them or choose a 5 second cycle. This studio then allows you to move the avatar around using the directional arrows in the big red circle in any direction and also 360 rotate.
